Im really interested in seeing June's numbers next month. the MGS4 PS3 bundle is sold out at Gamestop.com and sold out within 5 minutes on Amazon. Seems alot of people were waiting for this to become available

I would have thought they got among the most especially since they have that exclusive deal with Konami to sell the LE sets, not to mention the midnight launches they have planned. I dont shop at GS, but that is the only reason why I'll be picking up my copy thereFrom what iv been told, Gamestop didnt get that many in. I plan on getting a PS3 within the next two weeks, partly due to MGS4.
Not only that but the MGS4 PS3 bundle is highly speculated to have killed Amazon for a few hours due to massive heavy traffic and causing Amazon's share price to go down as a result.Im really interested in seeing June's numbers next month. the MGS4 PS3 bundle is sold out at Gamestop.com and sold out within 5 minutes on Amazon. As for how well MGS4 will do for PS3's numbers? I see a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation developing. Of course the hardcore fanboys will spin the numbers to make it look like the PS3 is dominating the universe, the rest of us of course will just enjoy our consoles. On the other side if MGS4 doesn't move X amount of consoles then 'the PS3 failed!!!', if it moves too much then 'MGS4 is the only reason the PS3 sells' in the eyes of the haters. Either way I see a lot of fanboy vs. fanboy debates developing within a week of it launching.

Is that any wonder? I swear, the people who don't like the PS3 come off as having some sort of personal grudge against Sony and want the PS3 to fail just for the sake of failing.
It starts. As of this morning the new 80gb PS3 with MGS4 is on sale at Walmart. If I dindt have a PS3, I would have purchased one on the spot. Too bad WM's numbers arent counted
Not really. I think most people that got GTA IV, got it within the first month it was released. It had huge numbers in April/May. I wouldnt have expected that to last into JuneOnly shocking thing there, to me, is the total absense of GTAIV on the Top 10 Software list. Hmm.
Man, how long has WiiPlay been out? And it's still racking in 300k a month. Nintendo knows how to make easy money.
Well, right now I'm positive that I will buy either 360 or PS3 console (but not both). I haven't decided which one to get, because while I like 360's library overall, PS3 attracts me with their reliability (no RROD), ability to play Blu-ray (because I really want to watch TDK on Blu-ray DVD), and I don't have to pay for a monthly rate (although I heard 360 also offer an online service that doesn't charge).
So what would you guys suggest?
The RROD problem is much smaller then it used to be, and the free 3 year warranty for the RROD makes up for those who do get it. It takes like 2-3 weeks to get your console back. It's dumb that it happens, but it's not that big of a deal.
I'd hope you'd watch more blu-ray movies then TDK if you're buying a 500 dollar system for it. Do you have a good set-up for Blu-Ray?
You can not play online multiplayer for free on the 360. You can download arcade games, demos, DLC, without buying a subscription to XBL, but to play online you have to pay. It's only like 4 dollars a month, it's not a big deal either.
If you're buying it to play games, judge it on them.
If you like 360's games better, get a 360. If you like PS3 games, get a PS3.

In other words...get a 360.![]()
