Remember last time when people were talking about Emma Stone? Then she became a contender, and we were sure that she was going to be cast as MJ. Then suddenly, at the last minute, it turned out that she was actually Gwen not MJ?

Well it's always possible that Dylan isn't among the list of actors, and we could all have the same feeling and bewilderment that we had when we found that Emma wasn't MJ at all. So people need to be prepared that O'Brien might not be in the list at all and could be disappointed.

Of course, I hope he is considered, as it would be a real shame if he is passed over. But then, even for previous characters like Captain America, there was a shortlist, and then none of the actors in that shortlist ended up as Cap, and Chris Evans seemingly came out of nowhere.

His GF seems hopeful of him getting the role. So it MIGHT have been a giveaway that he's in the final 5.
 
I actually had to take about 30 seconds analysing it. It was the nose in the end that gave away the identity :p
 
I thought it was one of those manips where they morphed Logan and Dylan's faces together.

It's the hair and the forehead I think. Also Dylan's face is a bit more chubby than usual in your pic. Normally though they don't look much alike.
 
I heard today that there was a shortlist of five actors for the part.
Do we know who they are?

No, all we know is that some of them are in their early 20's.
Which means Dylan and Logan are both still possible, and actually very likely. :cwink:
 
Sneider's only putting old stuff then, nothing new.

Sony is preparing to make test offers to several young stars next week, with a decision expected in the next 2-3 weeks, though a deal may take longer to hammer out.

While the new Spider-Man is expected to cameo in Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War,” which starts filming very soon, the role won’t need to be filled until June, when the character will be needed on set.

I don't think I can make it to June.
 
I can guarantee that Dylan is in the among others and Sneider couldn't swallow his pride to mention him after saying he wouldn't get it
