No, with Asa he believed a comedy coach would helpNow its suddenly not as important as when you were going against Lerman
Asa may seem "slower" but it's nowhere near as dry as Lerman.
Lerman often played lighter characters before. And sorry to correct you, but he CAN do comedy. Atleast better than Aaron Eckhart.Lerman is dryer than Sandpaper, his attempts at humor ALWAYS feel fake and forced and I've NEVER seen him crack a joke in his interviews. he can't do comedy, period.
A comedy coach can make the most humorlesss actor a barrel of laughs.![]()
man, it is sad Andrew wasn´t in the MCU, every time i see this gif, when he is working on his webs...screams Peter Parker,Andrew could´ve been the perfect Spidey, he has the acting chops but the script downgraded his performance as Peter

I can't help but picture Asa having to climb all the up to the peak of a mountain somewhere in Nepal to find a Buddhist clown in full make-up waiting for him at the top in an old monastery.
word, yeah. it's just the anticipation's so high coz this is the mcu spiderman we're waiting on here. the hype probably wasn't as strong back in 2010 (I wasn't around back then but that's what I'm thinking)Yet some people are acting like we've been waiting for years

Told you it was mainly the GA who wanted to see him in The Avengers (although there were a lot of Spider-Man fans who wanted to see it too, most of them were okay with him being solo))I think that right there is the key issue here. I got the impression that a fair amount of the general audience and some fans kinda ignored the ASM films and just wanted to see Spidey in an Avengers film.
With that sort of mindset, it's not at all surprising that people are going bonkers over finding out who the new Spidey is.

This isn't really true, the general audience was simply not too interested in the TASM franchise and it had nothing to do with The Avengers.
there were several factors in it but one of them definitely was the fact that the asm series was isolated in its own universe while the bulk of marvel was seeing fruition coming to being in a shared universe. This isn't really true, the general audience was simply not too interested in the TASM franchise and it had nothing to do with The Avengers.
Let me guess! That Buddhist clown is Logan Lerman, right?A clown who, under the constantly smiling makeup, is sad and depressed and has lost his sense of humour. He will tell Asa to abandon all joviality and merry making, and instead embrace his serious side like has now done. Asa will say that he already has embraced his serious side, and wants to learn from the comedy guru. However, the Buddhist clown will say that Asa is already further along than him, and now the student must become the teacher.
