And he looks older than Dylan in my opinion, like it's all well and good saying cast a 17-19 year old, but if they look their age, then when they're 25 they are going to look just as out of place at HS then say Dylan at 28.

Personally whilst Garfield showed it in in TASM2 a bit, in TASM he was 28 and I didn't really think he looked ridiculous being at High School, there are some old looking 17 18 year olds as it is.

I never heard people come out the theater and go the guy playing Peter looked too old. In fact I was shocked to learn how old he was at the time of casting
