I'm all for companies trying out methods to stop piracy (although in EA's case it's hard to believe that is the reason) and will support that as long as it doesn't hurt the genuine consumer at the same time.

I'll jump on an EA boycott train any day of the week. Thing is, consumers gotta vote with their wallets. It's the only way to stop EA. Otherwise, they'll keep being ***** about everything because they're making ****loads of money.

Anybody think EA would become a MS exclusive developer/publisher?,There's rumors that they'll announce a partnership with MS at E3 and at last year's E3 they showed up during MS's conference praising MS/360/Kinect&showed their games just on 360&PC versions.

They are constantly doing exclusive deals with MS/Sucking up to the 360 on their Facebook and most of the time they only show game footage of their games from 360&PC ports.

I really think they will go MS exclusive for next-gen or just do tons of big exclusives for them,The only love they give to Sony&Nintendo is having ports for them But focus on 360 and so I think it'll be even worse next-gen!!

No way EA goes first party. They would lose money if they split from Nintendo/Sony. I do think they'll continue their favoritism towards Microsoft when it comes to DLC though.

I didn't want to make a new thread, but does anyone think getting $60 for my old white Xbox 360 20GB is a good deal?

I have the current black one with wifi so I don't need my old one, and with 720 coming up soon, $60 for the old 360 doesn't seem bad right?

I guess it's not terrible...more so since the Wii only gets like 25. I'd wait until it was closer to new 360/ps4. You'll get more then.

If it works perfectly and hasn't been used extensively for 5/6 years plus then I don't think it's a great price. If there's anything wrong with it then sure.

The only source that matters is Microsoft at their unveiling. Remember the used games, weak RAM and always online rumours about PS4, especially that patent filed which was not even a rumour. Dispelled & never spoken of again within a 2 minute spell of Sony's conference. Reading & speculating on rumours for something can be fun & that's why I like doing it. If people put any more stock into it than that & especially if they're not having a good time doing it, it's not really worth doing. t:

Damage control also I don't think is necessary until there are preorders avialable or a way of getting people to commit one way or the other. The worse the rumours are the bigger the buzz & hype later on if they aren't true. And if they are true letting the rumours carry on is a good method of damage control in itself so that noone gets negatively shocked and makes a snap decision to switch during the conference just because of the surprise.

I just can't wait until Microsoft unveils the new system so these stupid rumors would stop, like that $70 price point thing the analyst said for all systems even though Sony already said $60 was the max.

Don't you have to install every PS3 game (even if it's not in full)? That didn't really hurt them, so I don't think it will hurt MS. Besides, it says you can play while installing. I don't see this as a problem.

Blocking used games doesn't affect me, but it definitely affects a large amount of people and I think it sucks. Same with the always online. If you really have to be connected on XBL just to play a SP game, it's going to suck.

Hopefully the rumors aren't true, or at least MS is able and willing to make some changes. I guess we'll find out soon enough. Is the announcement stilll rumored for April?

PS3 hasn't turned their discs into glorified paper weights. Sounds like Microsoft would rather just have a digital only system.

The PS3 installs were only on HUGE games that came out early on in the PS3's life cycle like GTAIV and MGS4 because developers didn't have a full grasp on the console the way they do now. I haven't had to install a game at all lately on the PS3.
