This is all about shellhead. His series, his minis, his actions in the MU--it's just all about him.

Let the fans of Tony Stark do their thing.:hyper: :csad:

Like, not one person posted in here.... WTF!?! know how I feel?

He looks pissed, I feel worst. Anyway, I hear that something new may happen with Tony. Let's talk about it.... grr!

Maybe he doesn't have any more fans; what with the way he's been acting in Civil War. :cmad:

No, even though I don't like what he's been doing since the whole "civil war" thing, I still think he is one of marvel's greatest heroes.

I haven't read this series pre-Civil War, but I'm getting tie-in issues #13-14. I just have to see how the writers handle this (if I was in charge of writing this title, I would make it my mission to smear as many other characters as possible within my 22 pages; we'll open with Captain America being busted for child molestation, and then proceed to Iron Man apprehending Spider-Man in the middle of an attempted mugging, etc.).

Hell, just by reading #7-12, I understand why he's pro-reg.

Well, this thread isn't getting alot of hits because Marvel's been working hard to tarnish Iron Man's image in the public eye. In light of Civil War, Iron Man has become Marvel's premiere supervillain, and that doesn't sit well with me. Not at all.

this should get merged with the other ironman thread. how does that go about happening?

I wish I could say that you're fulla sh** here, Cyclops.

But I just can't cause you're 100% right.

And it doesn't sit well with me either.

I don't know who this SOB is. But he sure isn't the Iron Man I used to read, and he hasn't been for a long time. :csad:

What doesn't sit well with me is that people see him only as a supervillan, because things have to be black and white for them.

Ok real post.

I kinda like what's going on with IM, he's actually interesting now. Yeah...yeah I know he's more a villain than a hero right about now, but dammit if I'm more into IM now than ever in the past.

I still view him as a hero most of the time. People should lighten up.

I can understand their anger so I'm not gonna tell someone not too be pissed.

So read his book so you can see things from his point of view.

Hate the writings, not the character.

Iron Man IS the everyday human who can elevate himself to a superhero level with his creativity and innovation. Whereas DC gives a lot of credit to Batman and with it the idea of a mere mortal can achieve something with ingenuity, Marvel sinks Iron Man to the muddy ground.

Bah.

Don't worry,... all this mess from around cage getting married,... it was done by an iron man from another dimension,.. y'see he got loose from shield and decided to go for a "do over" since his world went to hell.

The real tony is probably chained to a bed in a ****e house somewhere,....

i wish he was:ninja:

People need to get a damn grip, HE'S NOT A VILLAIN!!:cmad: :cmad:

He's just being written horribly by the people at Marvel. Just as soon as he starts gaining popularity, he finally has a big Marvel event that he stars in, they announce a movie, a videogame and a has cartoon movie coming out next month, the idiot writers at Marvel go on and make him into the most hated charater in Marvel, and now there're rumors that he won't be in the armor anymore and that he'll die. Good job Marvel!

I'm seriously going to stop buying Marvel comics if they keep writing Tony the way they're doing and if they do kill him off as Joe Q hinted at.

Tony can die, but his younger self should take over. And a whole new Iron Man series can start like a phoenix. I want to see Iron Man that can changes his equipments on the air by warping them (just like that 80's cartoon Centurions) and spank high powered villains like Dr. Doom conclusively.

And, oh yeah, shave the moustache. A clean shaven debonaire that twinkles ambition in his eyes is more interesting to me than a "that's so 1930's" Errol Flynn.

One, NO younger Tony. Been down that road once before. And two, I like the moustache. It speaks of refinement when well groomed.

I understand your feeling about this. Iron Man has always been my favorite Marvel Hero. I loved the fact that his only real power was his own intellect. No cosmic rays, no radioactive spiders, no genetic mutations. Just his own vision and intelligence that made him not only one of Marvel's most powerful but also most versatile heroes.

I also liked the fact that Tony Stark was a highly ethical businessman. Remember all the times that he went up against dirty corporations? He didn't fight Roxxon because they were the competition, but because of their blatantly un-ethical business practices. His employees had such respect for him that were willing to quit their very well-paying jobs rather than see SHIELD take over his company.

Unfortunately that man no longer exists. He has been slowly replaced with someone else entirely. Someone who isn't willing to stick by his comrades-in-arms come hell or high water as the old Iron Man was. Someone who has no problem backstabbing his friends, using them as pawns, denying them due process of law, and in general behaving in a manner more suited to the Green Goblin than the Armored Avenger.

Wake up and smell the coffee. He is NOT a hero any more!

Marvel has turned him into a VILLAIN!!!

Fat Joey needed someone to be the badguys in Civil War and he picked Tony Stark and Reed Richards.

I HATE it as much as you do, but I won't deny it. It's happened and now all I can do is hope and pray for the f@&$#*! reset button at the end of the attrocity! :cmad: :cmad:

Fat F@&$#*! Joey deserves a steel-capped kick in the fungones for this! And trust me old time Iron Man fans are lining up to deliver it. :cmad: :marv: :cmad:
