Don't get me started about Maradona. I love him as a player and that's it. It is a real shame that a great player like him self acts the way he does. His ego is going to cost the team the World Cup.


With that said I am still very optimistic and I like Argentina's chances.

I want to see the US win, not because I actually like soccer or am some kind of patriot. I want them to win simply because it would infuriate the rest of the World when we won and then even more so when 75% of the country was completely indifferent about it.

I hate that Adidas did not make the long sleeve Argentine jersey available for the public to buy. I would sure love to have one, oh well the short sleeve one will do.

So I'm watching the world cup (all 3 Nederlands group games + Brazil vs Ivory Coast group game) in South Africa. And I got myself a really cool Wesley Sneijder Nederlands jersey and Kaka Brazil jersey. 2 more weeks to go
