Well, it appears that Marvel will be putting out a series of Spider-Man related character mini-series in what are being called "Amazing Spider-Man Presents:"...

Currently, we have ASM Presents: American Son, and the upcoming ASM Presents: The Black Cat.

American Son #2 came out today, and while I typically wait until the minis are over to read them, I couldn't help but notice that Gabriel Stacy features a role in the book, so it's nice to see Marvel acknowledging it's "dark side" once again...

So far we've had The Amazing Spider-Man presents-Anti Venom,Jackpot, American Son and Black Cat.What I like about this feature is that it gives a push to the supporting cast in Amazing.What I don't like is having to wait 3-4 months to get the full story. I almost wish they would just go straight to a Graphic Novel.
And I agree with you, I usually try and wait until I get the whole arc before I start reading them.I give Anti Venom and Jackpot 2.5 out of 4 spiders!

Heven't read part two yet, but issue one wasn't bad, and I was surprised to see Gabriel show up at the end.
