I think people need to realize that this is a teaser trailer. And no matter what, the CGI still needs to be finished and reworked, the scenes are still being editted...this movie comes out in SUMMER 2012 for God's sake!!! For what it is, it looks great compared to TDKR's teaser. Waaaaay more fottage.

TDKR has not been filming that long whilst spidey has finished I believe. SO let's be fair. For what it is, a teaser, TDKR did a very good job of getting the buzz going.

For me, both trailers are excellent.

So wait people have a problem with Peter's parents being spies?I never had a problem with it.While I don't expect them to be spies it would be nice if they were working for a government agency of some sort that is investigating Oscorp.

Some are, certainly. But in that case we all know that the movie has been rushed (Sony was about to lose their Spidey right for unused). You can't say that it's always the case, particulary in summer. When they make Transformers 3, Wolverine or Pirates 4... they don't want to make good movies...

Marvel Studios at least try, they have good directors, good actors, writers... they fail sometimes (IM2 for exemple, wich is not bad, just not SO good). And yes, I want all marvel licences to go back to Marvel Studio. I want to see Thor flying behind spidey as he used to in the '60 comics With "Amazing" Spider-Man, Sony keep the licence for at least 5 years (can't remember if it's 5 or 7). They will ruins the hero, that when it come back to Marvel, it can't be used again for a long time.

but how do you know this. How do you know they are ruining the character. I will admit i dont know if it will be as good as i think it will but you dont know if its as bad as you say it must be. First class was rushed too and apart from the continuity issues its the strongest in the series as far as story is concerned

That would be very interesting. It Oscorp is the reason for there death, and Pete befriends Harry and his dad, and daddy become gobby... Interesting .

What I like about the ASM trailer is while avengers and TDKR felt larger in scale Spidey feels more personal more like a drama than an event.

Come on, we want movies, not theme park rides, not video games... First "3D", now that... they're killing what cinema is all about. What I've seen in this scene is not cinema...

And don't get me wrong, you can make action movie and still be good (look at the 80's), I don't say that cinema is about story, strong characters and stuff... But cinema is supposed to be art, not Michael Bay ********.

Anyway, even if I think what I think of this, I still don't believe 1st person scene will be in the movie... I hope not... They can't have such bad taste.

You're right, and I'm not totally close for surprise. Now I'm just pissed off because I'm a huge spidey's fan. First Class was a really good surprise in fact, And I'm open and will see this one too... If it's a surprise, then it's great and I will be the first to say it is

And seriously, part of me think it can be good. As I said, I really loved 500 days of summer, and the cast is really good. It's the "production value" that I don't trust.
