No one appreciates diverse variety of cuisines.

Morty's Delicatessen in Washington, DC. Best Jewish food outside of Manhattan.

There was this little corner Jewish delicatessen down on the corner from the studio space my wife had in Manhattan that we used to get Matzah Ball Soup from. Oh, MAN was that stuff good. I can't remember the name of the place, though. Right next door to it was a Chinese place that had the best Wonton soup I've ever had. We called it the Soup Corner.

I love Brazilian buffets. When I was in Biloxi, MS there was a Brazilian buffet in one of the casinos there and it was pretty damn good. I think I ganed 10 pounds in 2 weeks from eating at all the buffets.

We were going to do that one night but got distracted by a Cuban place out on the pier, instead. :o So, I've never been to the Soup Nazi. We aren't in NYC anymore, though we do visit friends and family once in awhile, so maybe the next time we swing through town.

Actually, that was the one post i found interesting.

Another nice place you might like to try is Daniel's in Manhattan. Very good food.

Also, Cippriani's in downtown Manhattan was quite nice.

In addition, a great place for brunch was La Golou in the 60s and Madison inn Manhattan. They had a set menu which was quite reasonable.

The other 2 restaurants above are a bit more pricey as you have to count >150 per head not including wine.

I've heard of Daniel's and La Golou. Have never eaten there, but I'll add them to "The List".

I tried one of the soups but even if it was good, it was not worth waiting 45 minutes to get one. It is a good reasonable meal if zou are looking for a cheap lunch but certainlz not something so exceptional that you should make a great effort to go there and eat. Lines are extremely long.

I had the soup in 1999.
