Synopsis:
An action-packed, tension-filled, edge of your seat thriller. When an explosion rocks Boston, bomb squad expert Jimmy Dove (Jeff Bridges) is thrust into the most harrowing work of his career. Evidence points to a bomber more dangerous and skilled than any other he's ever faced-except one. The possibility that the terrorist is Doves former mentor ( Tommy Lee Jones) increases the stakes- and as his friends and family are unsuspectingly drawn into the action, Jimmy is forced to face not only his bitter enemy...but also his haunting past.

Cast:
Jeff Bridges
Tommy Lee Jones
Forrest Whitaker
Llyod Bridges
Suzy Amis

Directed by Stephen Hopkins.

This movie to me, is 120 minutes of pure fun. I remember seeing this movie in the theater and being well....blown away. They took the explosions and amped them up each time, making sure each explosion got bigger and bigger until the finale. And it's still one of Hollywoods top 10 movie explosions of all time.

IRA movies always appeal to me, but this one is about a former member redeeming himself for the sins of his past. As he was once a bomb maker, now he uses his knowledge to take out bombs. If you're looking for a great action flick, I say this is one to watch. And also you'll notice several "Joshua Tree'' songs performed by U2 throughout the movie.

Still in my Top 10.

How much did you enjoy this film?? How does it rank for you? Do you watch it often still??

It's a ok movie....nothing to great about it IMO. Tommy Lee was good in it though. He should do more villian roles. He doesn't do them anymore.

His Irish accent wasn't all that bad, but he was pretty good as the villian. I remember seeing the preview for a "sequel" game of it. The return of the mad bomber or something like that.

That's the spirit man!!

I refuse to believe that Hunter Rider has not seen this movie.

YOU HEAR ME HUNTER??!!!:cmad:
