Froch vs Groves II confirmed for 31st May.

Thank God you changed the subject! Iron Stark almost high jacked this thread with crazy babble. I'm looking forward to this fight and I hope its televised. It wasn't in the USA which is a shame. Hopefully the winner gets Ward or JCC Jr.

I can't freakin wait for that fight! I'm going to try and see it in person. FYI: I think Sergio is going to destroy Cotto. Cotto literally has not one advantage over Martinez at all in this fight. Not. One. His only hope is that Sergio isn't 100%.

You keep saying that but I'm not so sure. I guess I've just never been that high on Sergio, although I respect his skills and pedigree. And like you said, Sergio hasn't really been 100% for awhile now.

Either way, this is a fight I've been eagerly anticipating since it was first talked about, June can't get here soon enough...

It's going to be a cracker but i'm favouring Cotto for the reason that Martinez not sure how much he has left in the tank and he went life and death with Martin Murrey and as you said may not be 100% he's been getting injuries and big ones in the last few years.

Thank god Mayweather didn't listen to his idiot fans. Should beat Maidana comfortably, unless he gets old overnight.

Depending on the undercard, I doubt I'll be buying this, so far all of these ppvs arent worth buying.

Haha Floyd trolled Amir.:funny:

Maidana won't trouble him for long first few rounds try and rough him up and then Floyd works him out to a UD.

I can actually see Floyd knocking out Maidana. Broner hurt him a couple of times in that fight and Maidana just did go up in weight not to long ago.

And as far as Sergio/Cotto, a lot of people are rooting for Cotto but man this is not going to be pretty at all.

I'm sure the fight might be a little rough and sloppy for the first couple of rounds, but there will be openings. It's up to Floyd to determine how much pressure he wants to apply back, but I think we've all seen this movie before. I say Maidana starts getting gun shy around the 6th or 7th round, easy work for the UD.

I definitely like Cotto, always have, but I really don't know what Sergio has left or what he might look like. Even at 100% I don't think he would've ever just ran through Miguel though, but we'll find out...

I sooooooo want to take that bet! Sergio will literally destroy Cotto.......and I like Cotto but he has no chance in this fight.

What fight were you watching? Broner never came close to hurting his daddy. Onesided ass whipping from start to finish.

No way does Mayweather ko Chino. Its going to be a safety first fight from the start. You really think Flody is going to stand in front of Chino? You are out of your mind.

Broner hurt Maidana at least twice. I haven't watched the fight in while, but he definitely hurt him.

I can see Floyd, if he is in control and Maidana starts to lose steam, knocking out Maidana late. Maidana, while having a lot of heart and a very solid chin does get hurt.

Thanks Darth for agreeing. I swear Iron Starks hate for Floyd defies logic sometimes. Broner did hurt Maidana he just couldn't follow up. Dude got up to almost 165 lbs prior to the fight and had to work really hard to lose the weight. His work ethic sucks. But his first loss may turn it around for him.

What does Broner getting spanked by his daddy have anything to do with Mayweather? I never saw once where Chino was hurt, wobbled or stunned. He may have gotten caught flush once or twice, but he was never in danger of being dropped or stopped.

Broner isn't going to turn sh- around. His bloated ego won't let him. Look at his last few interviews, he's still in denial that the better man won and that there isn't anything to change.

He'll soon be yesterdays news like Berto. Except Berto was more talented than him, which made him stick around a little longer.

If Broner wants to do anything with his career, he needs to not only start working harder he is going to have to stop thinking he is Floyd. His use of the shoulder roll gets him more hurt. He doesn't do it right and clearly doesn't have the instincts.

Watch the fight again. A round or two before Broner got knocked down for the second time, he hurt Maidana.

Floyd's uncle offered to train him. Broner should really take him up on that offer.

He stands in front of everybody. I don't think he'll open up enough to put Maidana away, but he'll be there front and center no doubt. That's how he fights, I still fail to see why everyone assumes he uses all this movement just because he doesn't take punishment. He's never done that (outside of the De La Hoya/Hatton bouts), even in his youth. He's never been a Roy Jones type to be on his bike a lot.

Broner stands in front of people and uses some sloppy version of the shell, Floyd stands there properly and in the pocket for his counters. Besides that, Maidana will stop being busy by the middle of the fight, mark my words on that...

Floyd can definitely KO Maidana, but he aint gonna risk it. No problem with a 12 round shut out schooling.

Maidana's a better choice than Khan, cause Khan hasnt earned anything. But Floyd shouldnt have done the poll thing.

JCC JR. vs Brandon Vera this weekend. As much as I thought Vera won the last time, I predict he's going to get knocked out this time. Chavez looks like he actually cares this time. According to boxing sites, should he win, he's quite possibly set to fight GGG in June or July.

He better care. Or get out of the sport altogether. Dude has the tools to be something special, but if he hasn't already squandered all his opportunities, another bad lose will certainly put the nail in the coffin...

Chavez Jr when life and death with Vera and I thought Vera won too.

Lomachenko vs Salido on tonight as well. Lomachenko the best amateur record ever and hes' fighting for a world title in only his second fight.

Just when you think JCC Jr. finally shows he cares................he comes in 30 minutes before his fight. That's pretty f-ed up for a guy who's in the main event.

Anyone watching the salido/lomochiko fight? HBO is bias as hell.

Lomachenko loses by SD. Well now he can concentrate on his career instead of looking for the record of quickest to become world champion crap.
