Call me a JCC hater, but I didn't see this "domination" that HBO saw. I had him winning but winning close, not by 8 points.

I had it 7-4 rounds for Chavez. He was just grittier, more accurate, tougher, and had the bigger punches.

I can live with that but 117-110/111? That's way to high!

Yeah Chavez won it by 3 or 4 rounds it wasn't a blow out. But it was an exciting.fight. I'd pay to see guys like Vera fight any day of the week over boring ass defensive fighters like Rigendeux.

I've said it ever since a I first saw him at a live boxing event, Lawrence Cole sucks ass, he should nevet be allowed to ref a major fight ever again.

I don't think GGG would ko Chavez because of his incredible chin, but if that fight were to jappen it would be an absolute slug fest. I favor Golovkin in that one.

This. He wasn't awesome or anything like that, but he landed the stronger shots and could touch him with the right hand pretty much at will.

Both of those guys had some granite chins. I thought they both threw and took some haymakers but they both were standing. It was a great fight though. I still don't understand why neither of these guys don't want to fight Ward at 168 when GGG is clearly headed in that direction and JCC is clearly a heavyweight.

Why won't Ward go up in weight and fight the light heavies? Why won't he fight out of Oakland?

Jr and GGG would make a better matchup anyhow. It wouldn't be a onesided boxing clinic and would likely sell huge in an areana bigger than Oakland.

Ward should sack up and fight outside of his comfort zone.

I actually agree with you. I don't understand the obsession of constantly fighting in your hometown. I do know that he has to do something. Since he won the super 6 and fought a weight drained Dawson, he hasn't had a fight of note at all. His career is slowing going by.

If either of those guys actually wanted the fight, I don't think Andre would have a problem doing whatever it took to get it down. If that meant weight, location, whatever.

Just watched a random fight on tv. It was omar figueroa vs nihito arakawa. That was an incredible fight. If you just want to see a blood bath, that was entertaining I'd suggest watching it on youtube.

Did anyone see the Canelo fight? Man does it looked fix. Angulo looks like he was paid to mentally check out.

I did man didn't think that personally Canelo was just too good for him on the night. Don't know where he goes on from here heard rumours of a Lara fight at the end of the year. @154lbs.

Canelo looked good but Angulo clearly didn't try. He didn't throw any hard punches at all like he normally does and he let Canelo hit him when he felt like it. I mean, in the first round he threw pity punches. Wtf!?!??

The only fight that was shady was the Wilder/Scott fight. Now that one was either fixed or Scott just took a dive.

The Wilder fight wasn't fixed - his opponent was scared. There are a couple of old Tyson fights that end with suspect knockouts like that one, too. It's outright silly to think Canelo-Angulo was fixed, though. Angulo just really is that slow, and Canelo really is that good. The juxtaposition of their respective styles exaggerated Angulo's shortcomings, but the man is a warrior. The promoters knew this, and that's why he was picked for Canelo's comeback following the Mayweather loss.

Anyone hear the rumour about Gennedy Golovkin vs Julio Cesar Chavez Jr in July at 168lb?
If that's the case it's good news as golovkin has been fighting tomato cans and at least this is a credible opponent.

Think I'm taking Manny in the Bradley fight. It'll be close though.

Bradley vs Pacquiao II this week. Fancy Pacman to come out on top this time. How bout you guys?

If it goes 12 rounds, I pick Paq. But I can actually see Bradly knocking him out. Why? Because of the JMM fight. Fighters are not the same afterwards.

Well, regardless of who wins, at least that corrupt piece of s*** CJ Ross isn't a judge for this fight or any others.

:down

She wasn't corrupt. I don't get why people keep saying that. The ONE judge that had Manny winning had him winning closely, I believe by 2 points. A lot of Manny's punches missed, even though HBO kept saying they were hitting Bradley. They were not hitting him. Look at both fighters before and after the fight and you can tell. Bradley looks almost the same(albeit pretty ugly but that's his normal look)and Paq looked like he fought Tyson. All the judges had it a close fight but only one had Paq winning.

Eh, Pacquaio won that fight. I believed it in 2012 and I still believe it now. Nobody is changing my mind about that.

Ok I understand. I think Bradley won. We disagree but I don't understand why people are crucifying her when all of the judges had it close.

I'm a believer that even though refereeing/judging isn't perfect in any sport, usually when the fans and the media crucifies an official for something, there's a just reason behind it. Ross's reputation speaks for itself.
