Yes PBF owned Mosley. As much as Floyd gets knocked for ducking opponents, he pretty much dominated everyone he has faced. The only guy left for him to fight is Pacquio and after tonight, I don't see how Manny even stands a chance. He just straight up showed the world just how dominate a fighter he is.

Well that was a one-sided ass kicking. I thought Mosley was going to take him out in the second when he had him hurt.

I don't think Paquiao beats Mayweather, I'd rather see Floyd go up to 154 and fight Paul Williams or Sergio Martinez instead or stay at '47 and fight Berto.

I know its a lot of weight (a hell of a lot of weight) but I'd have liked to see him take on Joe Calzaghe.

Can't believe i've only just found the boxing thread! Love boxing nearly as much as footie. Used to do a bit of it when i was younger. Not serious like, just trained and did a bit of sparring n that.

So Mayweather won huh? Not surprising. The guy is just too good. Hate the smarmy **** though.

Superb performance by Mayweather, totally outclassed someone who is arguably one of his closest 'rivals' for the pound for pound best.

He was dominant for every round bar one, Mosely looked slow in comparison to Mayweather.. & Mosely is a very fast fighter with very fast hands. Yet he barely even landed a thing on Mayweather cleanly. Totally outstanding.

Very good fight, would have been great to see Floyd finish him.

If the Mayweather - Pacquiao superfight ever does happen, I can't see the Pacman being able to out box & beat Mayweather. If he was to beat him he'd just have to get lucky & happen to catch Mayweather as Mosely did last night in the 2nd I personally think..

The thing i've noticed with Mayweather's fights is that his opponents don't really work his body that much.

Why?

Batter his body and it will slow him down. And it's easier to hit his body than his head.

Mosley was headhunting from the beginning, and started to go to the body late.

The one that had the best success against Mayweather and arguably won the fight was Jose Luis Castillo, and why? Because he was attacking the body from round one. De La Hoya also came the closest to defeating Mayweather with his jab.

Pac has a solid jab and a brutal body attack, if he can take Mays counter punches, he has a great shot at beating him. Also if he hurts Mayweather early like Mosley, Judah and Corely all did. Though they weren't able to finish Floyd.

What a great fight on Saturday! Got my money worth! Although I was rooting for Mosley cuz he's from my hometown of Pomona, but I really want to see Mayweather/Pac fight! Working body is only conceivable way to defeat Mayweather. Noone is going to be landing a headshot on that guy till he's worn down a bit. Pacquiao Mayweather got to happen. Surely that's the reason Mayweather came out of retirement. Pacquiao is the only guy who Mayweather supporters would get even slightly worried about.

That's why i was disappointed with Cortez in the Hatton fight. He kept pulling Hatton away when he got in close and pounded Floyd's body. It isn't a pretty tactic, but it is totally legal.

I'm not saying Hatton would of beat him, but the ref didn't do him any favours in that fight. Hatton had the perfect style and tactic to beat Mayweather, but the ref didn't allow him to utilize that tactic. Whether Hatton would of won is irrelevent.

They want to go to the body, it's just that the fear of his counter-punches stunt their offense. You have to show Mayweather your head to really dig down underneath his ribcage, and he is preternaturally fast with that straight right counter. Pain does funny things to people, and once they taste Mayweather's speed, they're hesitant to mount any serious body attack.

In short, he's just that good. Pacquiao has a shot under the tutelage of Freddy Roach.

Apparently Mayweather Sr. has ruled out a fight between the two and now Jr is demanding blood tests up to the date of the fight.

No real big fights have been announced.

Looks like Mayweather has about 8 hours (midnight PT) left on the deadline to agree on a Nov 13 bout with Paquiao.

Pac has already agreed to the testing and money, all that's left is for Mayweather to sign otherwise they won't be fighting until next year or if ever at all.

I doubt he will.
