Like I said, I just saw the link on the other thread and thought "Wow! It's availible!" and decided to host it here.

Bad idea, apparently. :(

Anyway, I'm sure it'll go back up when he's ready to show it.

somebody please pm greg''s illustration to me! please! I won't re-host or anything, I just want to see the bloody pic.

funny, how come i still see it if its been taken down?

Ruth rehosted it right? i remember going to the artist's website and i saw it there.

its very good work but its nothing "jaw dropping". relax guys, its better if we see Routh live in the suit via one of the spyphotos. at least you know its current instead of it being interpreted by someone else basing it on an image of god knows when.

Ha.

I actually didn't manage to download the image, and any time you try to do that now it comes out as a corrupted file. Not that I would dare share it with anyone or do something like that. ;)

Seriously, it was a neat illustration (I think I got a big kick out of it for obvious reasons), but I'm not sure people would be as knocked out as I was.

So any idea if thats the "Singer" style suit in the artwork? or just something Horn came up with?

Well, considering you most likely took liberties with yourself to the pic...er...I suppose you would enjoy it on another level than us. :o :)

It's just the classic "S" as he's ripping open his white shirt and suit jacket. His glasses and undone tie are falling off to the left. The face looks like it was taken from a shot of Routh we've already seen.

Horn did a really nice job. I loved it (surprise, surprise).

I admit nothing. :p

Seriously, it was just a good illustration. I'm sure you guys will get to see it soon enough. I strongly doubt that Greg Horn did that piece of artwork just so he could hide it away from the world.

haha, yes patience is something many seem to lack, considering I'm a comic fan first, I'm familiar with Greg's work and quite like it, maybe one day when my delusions of grandeur become a reality I'll be working with him.

If someone can still see it, and save it to their hard drive, then they can reupload it, I suspect you can still see it b/c your comp saved it in the cookies before it was taken down, or something to that effect...

yep, if someone has seen it on their computers, pls check your image cache (temporary internet files), it's still there...

I retract my statement, that was before I realized Greg didn't want it rehosted.

It's too late. Your statement is already out there. The firing squads are coming.

I Guess those cookies worked.

;)

Well, the images have now vanished when I visit the threads. But it was nice to see a good piece of artwork with our boy doing the famous Clark to Superman transformation. Of course, some of us are more impressed than others, for various reasons... ;)

I also forgot to mention that the colors behind the figure were pink, yellow, and orange (which actually worked well). Greg Horn should be very proud of his work. :)

Am I the only one who thought the head looked photoshopped onto the body?
