my logic is based on people appreciate talent.
Apparently Singer appreciates Routh's talent...

btw, reeve was the lead role in the soap opera and threathe in his early years. :o

Lead role. You sure? One Life to Live created Routh's role just for him. What is 'threathe in his early years?'

:) of course he does. i was just thinking maybe routh would have a more significant role in his first film so that we could see more of him and have more of his shots for manips. don't worry, i'm not bashing him. he is gonna be superman and i'm here to cherish and shout for him!!! just wish that he would come to my country to promote the film!!! hooray!!!

i mean before reeve donning the cape, he was doing quite well in the stage play and soap opera.

Anyways....

I emailed the producer of Deadly asking what Routh's part in the movie was. We'll see if I get a response.

in fact i'm thinking how ignorant of the director not to notice routh's potential. if not, he could use the tagline that starring by the upcoming superman in his poster during the release to promote his film!!!

Yeah, I don't Chris had a leading role, he played a villain of some sort. Not a lead.

Really? I hadn't heard that... makes you wonder why he got let go so unceremoniously.

Yup.

Yup. The writers didn't know where to go with the character. Routh's replacement was let go as well and the character ceased to exist. *shrug* It happens.

Brandon's character's name in DEADLY is Tim Peters.
Cool, you get any word on just how big the part was? I'm guessing it wasn't very big.

Yay a film about Paul Brenardo (sp) isn't there a vomiting smiley?

I'll probably see the film but the subject mater is waht deservse the vomit.
A friend of my Father was involved in the forensics on that case and he said that the house was the most disturbing place he had ever been in.

(My father's in Corrections in Canada, as a job not a 'client', so he has a lot of police contacts)

More DEADLY info:

He has two scenes. All of his scenes are with Laura Prepon -- he plays a guy whom Karla (Prepon) meets in a disco after she has left Paul (Mischa Collins), and with whom she has a brief relationship until the guy finds out about her involvement in the rape/murders.

DEADLY is still filming. There is a posssibility of more scenes for Brandon. The question is, will Brandon have the time to film those additional scenes..?

Prolly the only career curse worse than wearing blue tights is dying in your first film... ;)
It didn't hurt Johnny Depp or Errol Flynn.

does any one get the feeling they will be selling that film off the tagline "starring the NEW superman" :D
