It is funny but also sad. Such a horribly transparent dubious fake story is the one that gets spread like wild fire. There are so many bits of info from reliable people (I consider myself one of them a long with Batgirl, LSOK, etc...) that don't even get a little mention. Hell when I spoke with Sam Heughans agent, supermanhomepage was the only site that bothered to pick it up Plenty of times I'd read something by a decent source that never made it to IGN or major sites... They choose this one. A story made up by muscles an entertaining welling fan, ah well. Still funny sh** anyways

They don't have reasons other than... 1. He's not Tom Welling from that tv show smallville. 2. He's not experienced enough.

Of course the answers to 1 is... It's a movie adaption not a tv series. If Lois and Clark was the current show you'd want Dean Cain. Finally, 2... Singer picked him over many talented young actors because he saw something in him that made him feel he's the right choice. You don't get handed a lead this big unless the director thinks you've got IT. People wanted an unknown, then they ***** about it.
