I sense folks are a little nervous that Valkyrie is doing better than expected.

I know - which is funny considering it's pretty much a mute-point regarding Singer doing another Superman film.

Valkyrie being a success pretty much has no bearing on The Man of Steel.

I guess it doesn't fall in line with singer being the worst director in the world that they would have you believe. Honestly, I dont see what all the hate towards him is but to each their own. I thought valkryie was a good movie and I'm glad it did well just to shut people up. Sometimes the internet is ridiculous when people go out of there way to bash a movie they havent seen or read a script for.

Apparently, King Jackass has been right about "EVERYTHING ELSE about 99% of the time??" and yet never gives examples and/or links. :o

It's not like he'd actually show up over here. :whatever:

He is such a chicken to show up here anyway. We know he isn't smart as he talk. Beside, he wouldn't last long here with his behavior. Didn't "ApologistPuncher" once post here before as "lexlives"? That guy sure is hateful 24/7 & need help with his high school maturity.

But I agree that Valkyrie is doing well. Stevie probably think it need to make $200 millions to be a hit, which it doesn't & it already doing well despite what he think.

Well as you know, if you're involved in the tee-shirt business, then you basically know everything about the film industry too! :o

To be fair, he was 100% on the money about one thing in his post.

FilmNerdJackass can spout off all she wants but its simply a case of denial and jealousy. When I've been wrong, I've admitted being wrong. JLA was a major road wreck for EVERYONE who tried to leak info. But considering I've been right with EVERYTHING ELSE about 99% of the time?? Then there's the FACT that I have proven both of the worshiped Terminal and Showtime wrong how often?? Wait, I keep forgetting. I'm psychic. I don't actually have insiders.

Whatever...I don't live in my parent's basement or go to high school anymore so I stay away from sites that breed idiocy and worship false idols.

Who am I to argue with King-Jackass?

You guys remember the Latino Review article about Routh staying on board - which I quickly backed-up elsewhere?

Well, confronted...

Don't put too much faith into it. The same person also said that MOS was right on track and just around the corner before the SDCC. Then Robinov changed all that and said they would be "reintroducing" Superman. Routh (if he was even at the offices) was probably begging for his job or seeing if his last paycheck finally came in.

I think he's exaggerating and embellishing them a bit. I'd never presume to say that he didn't talk to Levitz, but seriously, going by a past conversation with Greg Noveck, he said they don't get much info at all about the film side of these characters and that's up to WB. This is why they could never comment on what was going on after SR. He may be under the impression that Routh was not released or that MOS is even moving forward. Who knows what Levitz was thinking...or how much he had to drink either...

Everyone I called today said they've seen the articles online, but NONE of them have seen or knew about Routh being in any WB office within the past several months. As I said before, I think the writer is embellishing a bit and making something out of nothing.***UPDATE

I just sent an email to Robinov, Horn, and Noveck. I'm going to email every 2 hours until I get a response. We will break the story on Superman.

I've emailed Horn, Robinov, and Noveck repeatedly with no reply. But everyone else who does respond says it was nothing more than Routh visiting friends.

I've been told it was nothing more than him visiting friends and no discussions have taken place with him about the future of Superman. I've repeatedly emailed Robinov, Horn, and Noveck to get their comments, but they have yet to respond.

After all that smack, "suddenly" comes a new thread.

Routh not out yet as Superman
Submitted by Archangel on Tue, 10/21/2008 - 18:05.

Okay. I've been siting back while digging into this matter and I've gotten as close to the bottom of it as I'm going to without having an actual meeting with execs.

And those who have ridiculed Jerrytoons for still seeing this as a possibility should apologize.

Here's what I've got.

* Horn - Wants to keep Brandon Routh as they have apparently become friends outside of the studio. To me, this is a conflict of interest and should not have any bearing on the film, but would prove he simply does not care about fans or the true potential of a Superman film.
* Tull - Doesn't even want a reboot. Simply wants a sequel and is hoping to get back money lost on the SR. If I were him, I'd want my money back too, but a reboot that gets the fans in the seats who sat out SR is the best way to do so.
* Robinov - Reboot. Period. He seems to be the only one who has the overall best interest of the character in mind right now, but doesn't get to make the final decision.

So, if you really want this to end up as Routhman Returns films, do nothing, but if you want to see a true Superman film, get your ass on the phone and let Alan Horn know this. Flood him with emails. Send him letters. Form a picket line outside WB. Do something to save Superman!

My question is why didn't he call this when it broke? I mean he is "99%" right, huh?

A few more "99%" bits of accuracy come to mind as well...

Warner Bros reps have confirmed the reboot. Robinov himself will be making the announcement.

The other films are being kept quiet right now as they have to develop a timeline similar to how Marvel is setting up The Avengers. If they aren't done in a good order for this, it will screw things up. Look for a cameo in the third Batman film. They wouldn't say who though.

That's funny because Nolan has flat out said publicly there won't be any cross-overs with his Batman nor did Robinov say anything after the Wall Street Journal article.

And remember after Robinov confirmed the Superman "re-introduction" film?

On that note, WB has made their decision on what they're going to do and they are already negotiating a deal with who will be used.

All I can say is that the director I'm told about is very well known, has worked with WB on more than one project, and should make most fans happy. I have no idea if this is the director that is linked to Mark Millar though. I do know that the idea of filming a trilogy as an epic that spans three films has been well received by most involved. So it would seem had we been able to make our pitch, it wouldn't have been laughed out of the building.

Ahhh, accuracy. :o

Jamie why bother? It's obvious the guy over at SaveSuperman is full of it.

Don't give him or Webhead the time of day

No, good Sir.

He has "admitted being wrong," and yet only been so 1% of the time. So...when and/or where did we see said admission on his part?

Because there aren't any over there and as one can tell from the examples I submitted (to which there are more) that's less than "99%" of accuracy.

I've never visited SaveSuperman because I have no desire after everything I've heard.

Most of us here know that the guy is a liar. I just don't think you should waste so much time on the guy and give him the "press"

You and Show have shown yourselves to be fairly reliable, so who cares about Steve?

That's just my opinion on the matter.

Jamie's feud with Archangel is so funny. :funny:

So if Archangel is just some nobody in Florida(?) with few or no Hollywood connections why did he think WB execs would respond to his constant emails?

What's wrong with Webhead?

That's the most :lmao: about the whole thing. The WB execs probably have his email addy denoted as spam by now.

Apparently Webhead says one thing here and another over there.

Yeah, I just saw the thread where Showtime said that Webhead claimed to be pretending to be nice to him and Jamie just to avoid being banned.

Yeah. Last time I checked, I'm not a mod. And Showtime rarely bans posters, and that's only if they're complete jackasses.

LOL!

Great stuff James.

About time someone called that fool out.. but I think it's obvious to anyone with any intelligence that Steve is full of it.

No offense Webhead.

Just like his wife, Steve can be full of it & a liar. Funny how they get upset when people accuse them of lying. I done that before to his wife at CD & she act like she never lies and such. But I'll let it go. She will just say whatever she want, even if she is lying.

lol

"yea... we dont know but i dont know but we know what i know about what they know and we'll never know...Robinov confirmed a full on reboot to the series with new cast, crew, story, etc. i think that we will never know what the big whigs are saying but we will know soon hopefully before or sooner rather than later but i dont think we'll know for some months or maybe years about siegal and shuster case and about what singer was trying to do for a sequel with the wb in charge.."

- Words of wisdom by Webhead2006

I'd be pretty excited if WB said F it, and announced Singer was going to make a direct sequel for Christmas 2010. Because there's been so much stagnation, that outcome would make me happy, despite all the qualms and controversies. And it would make these boards spring back to life and boil over. How much fun would that be? Lots of folks would say "Gah! No. Terrible!" Lots would say "Oh sweet, on Christmas day I get to see BR back on the screen as Supes fighting Brainiac!" Some would say " I'lll wait and see."

Showtime, what kind of percentage of a chance do you think that has of happening??

Hence all "6000" members of Save Superman with posters like ApologistPuncher.

Granted, none of them will ever show up here with their handles and flame like they do other there because they'd immediately be banned.

The best thing is I used his own quotes against him (with links, no less) but it doesn't matter. I'm still "full of crap" in my minds. :whatever:

Surely you eat enough fibre to clear your bowels regularly. ;) :D

By the way I've been away so can someone recap the highlights of the problem or is that naughty and not allowed? Or is it that some people are blinded by hatred of Bryan Singer? Or just "Superman Returns"? Solution: more pillow fights. OK not really. But we can and should have fun. Otherwise nastiness wins and that's unthinkable. OK not really but it is untenable and tragic. :( ;) :)

So being a bigot wins arguments? Not with me by the way. Sigh. I hope it hasn't been getting you down too much.

Yeah, damn parents for raising me to treat all people equally and with respect! :hehe:

Never understood the hatred towards the African-American, Jewish, gay, etc. communities.
