I know Spiderman is in this film but I'm more excited for more Vision.

The best moments of the movie for me. Just beautiful.

They got him just right as far as I'm concerned.

I agree. In no way was Cap OP in TWS. All his feats were consistent with his first appearance. His taking out a jet does not make him OP but just shows how skilled, tactful, agile and strong he is with his shield all together.

DanielFM: Also when he took out that jet on the bridge. That was one of the most awesome "comic book super hero action sequences come to life" Ive seen in movies.

This was one of the most obvious "how fast he planned everything" moments :cwink:
"Ok, I'm riding a motorbike under machine gun fire from a VTOL fighter and I have less than three seconds to think a plan and destroy it. Yep, that will work", and a rightful showing of what a Super-soldier is capable to do ensues :woot::ilv:
That's how you do Cap. He is still just a stronger, faster and more skilled human (with an indestructible shield). Yet he can kick so much ass when written right.

I cant wait to see the action sequences in Civil War. I expect some pretty badass stuff only against/with other super heroes.

I would love the Wanda/Vision romance to begin here, and then be one of the main themes of Infinity War.

^Whedon did a terrific job with "epic shots". In fact, I have yet to see other shots in the entire MCU not encompassing the two Avengers movies that puts-to-shame the most mouth-watering shots in the latter films. But that said, he really dumbs the action down and turns the villain into a ragdoll for Hulk.

That is why I don't think I will particularly miss Whedon that much

One thing we found out: it sure takes a crap load of energy to melt Vibranium.

Hulk is a deus ex machina some what. Notice how in all the fight scenes involving Ultron he wasn't there for obvious reasons. Same with Thor. Whedon has said its difficult for him to write those two characters which is really ironic considering that he made Hulk an interesting character and seems to get Thor the most. Whedon is a great writer. For me he made me like Black Widow, Hulk and Thor lot more than their solo outings.

Guys, stop. You're making me want to rewatch TWS... Again. (This month.):ilv::ilv::ilv:

Mainly the Mind Stone and Thor's lightning being that they're not of Earth.

Any guesses on what the mid credit/end credit scene will be?

Mid credit will probably be a Spider-Man scene, hopefully one that parallels a Cap scene. Post credits will be Thanos.

Well, maybe Cap's average skill level is too OP for me haha

I do want to see other characters get proper treatment:

- Iron Man, he has not been as ruthless as his first movie. Obviously holding back from killing anyone, which is character development as mentioned in RDJ's interviews, but I want him to go badass mode.
- War Machine, hence the name I would like to see some 'up your game', if you will, since in past movies he seems to be IM's equal, when he needs to be a WAR. MACHINE.
- Scarlet Witch, she is the wild card of the team, and they've mentioned that she will improve her abilities over time, so we'll see something of the kind in Civil War.
- Hawkeye, I think it's time to see the trained spy, I want to see some Jason Bourne type of ****.
- Ant Man, enough said, I want to see Giant Man go full balls to the wall mode.

Note: I want to see Ant-Man arrow scene, that gets me excited!

I guess there will be both (as opposed to just the mid credit for AoU).

Mid-credit will feature Doctor Strange because I am convinced CACW will have supernatural climactic elements (present in CATFA, completely absent from CATWS) that will forge a connection for him into the current Marvel timeline.

End-credit will feature Tony Stark, having won the war of who supervises the superheroes, being mercilessly tortured by bureaucrats and "red tape". Or otherwise suffering in some darkly hysterical, ironic way.

I hope we don't see too much Scott Lang silliness. We'll already have quipping from Spidey and smarmy remarks from Iron Man. Ant-Man can be useful in CW, but the tone of his movie doesn't really mesh with the tone of TWS, which I assume will be CW's tone.

as much as I enjoyed Whedon's final act on AoU, i really wished to see ultron take on the team by himself just like in EMH.

Ultron could have defeated Ironman with his new vibranium armor, keep hulk occupied by a portable stark's sound wave weapon (call back to TIH), hawkeye's arrows stopped through force field, BW can be stopped by her own weapons (like in TWS where she electrocutes herself), shock-charges for Pietro, armor protecting from Wanda's hexes and Thor could have received the same beating as he got in the movie.

Ultron could have foreseen what vision was capable of in terms of shutting his access and then formulate a program which requires Ultron to be defeated physically (like Wanda pulling out his "heart" defeated) for Vision to take over his "wifi". It would have been awesome if he took everyone down like that especially with Cap remaining and then mock him by saying that he didn't need to analyze or formulate a plan to defeat him, only to be his downfall. It would have been excellent character development for both characters.

But I will take what I got.

What if CW is 20% Caps story and 80% Viz and Witch romantic drama?

Things were getting boring at Avengers HQ, so Wanda and Vision came up with the Civil War scheme to help spice up their sex lives. Basically Civil War is about Wanda and Vision in danger and saving each other.

Or maybe Civil War will be a war between those who ship Scarlet Vision vs Those who do not.

I think they've done the exact opposite. Both Iron Man 2 and 3 went out of their way to show that War Machine/Iron Patriot was inferior to Iron Man. Rhodey loses control of his suit twice, in Iron Man 2 it's said that Tony threw the fight between the two of them. Also in Iron Man 2 we see Tony show off some awesome weapon in the final battle while Rhodey's big weapon is a complete dud. Even in AoU we see Tony ask Rhodey if he's capable of keeping up and Thor/Tony are completely unmoved by stories of his exploits.

Marvel has dropped the ball with War Machine IMO. They really need to give him a great showing in Civil War in order for people to buy him as a legit Avenger in his own right and not "discount Iron Man".

We haven't seen much related to Doctor Strange yet. Age of Ultron promoted a lot of different movies and this one will promote Spider-Man just by having him. My guess is one scene will be related to that and one scene will be something just related to this movie.
