OK, if you say so. Because it kind of looked like you were rubbing Transformers 3's "ridiculous money" in the faces of those who said the first two TF films were "terrible", and then gloating about TF3 setting a record for reaching the half illion mark. Silly me for thinking that.
The money is "ridiculous," next time I'll just call it "immense," and perhaps I won't come off as gloating. Take it how you want, however you would be just as "silly," for finding almost all of box office mojo's reports gloating in the same way for using the similar language when stating facts.(predictions or otherwise)
it's all in their opening paragraphs
Friday Update: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 decimated the midnight opening record last night, raking in $43.5 million at 3,800 locations. That alone would equal the 13th highest-grossing opening day ever. The previous midnight record holder was The Twilight Saga: Eclipse with $30 million at around 4,000 locations, followed by The Twilight Saga: New Moon with $26.3 million at 3,514 locations.
Working its final movie mojo, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 soared into the record books with the highest-grossing opening weekend ever. The series finale drew $169.2 million on around 11,100 screens at 4,375 locations, dethroning The Dark Knight's $158.4 million.
I wonder who one would imply mr. Gray is gloating for and against...all those fancy words he uses..why can't he just be straight forward and state the facts.
Like I said, you're welcomed to take it as you will, most people are sensitive to such things. I just wouldn't compare that to some of the stuff I've seen round these parts.
