The registration act makes sence it's the, redister or goto prison act that doesn't work. The marketing people for the act really did a bad job, if they had put a nice spin on it everyone would have signed and forgot about it.

the registration act was a good idea, but that bastard stark handled it the wrong way..oh he's gonna pay.

Superhumans should HAVE to register and get proper training but should NOT have to work for the government. I totally understand Superhuman registering, if this was the real world I would vote yes on registration, but not if it was mandatory government work.

Traded in 1 to 7 to my shop last week and I'm going to get my next 3 weeks pulls for free:woot:

Re-read this once all the hype was over.I normally love Millar's big budget style (with the exception of Wanted,Trouble and Spidey) but I totally agree with Grant Morrison that this book didn't feel like "full throttle" Mark Millar.Too many cooks in the kitchen if you will.

I felt that the story in the main book got too focused on changing up the landscape of the MU and setting plotlines in place rather than focusing on telling a good story on its own in the process.

But I will say that I want me some McNivvy goodness soon.

CW 1 to 7 plus some other small runs got me that deal.

Free books or store credit is always a good thing.

There is no way I am going to read through over 10,000 posts. What tie ins are worth reading and or necessary to read for the Civil War? I read a couple FF4s and Spider-Man's I liked them and felt they did explain a bit more in the main story line.

You know, I thought you'd only need the actual Civil War books (1-7) to get the necessary story, but I was wrong. The Fantastic Four books give a great insight into the motivation for Reed's actions. I'd say read as much Civil War stuff as possible to get the full story.

Thanks Cap, and Stark is a ***** ass mother ****er for the way he deal with you.

Actually, the FF ties ins are COMPLETELY different reasons for why Reed does what he does, just to muck things up really good.

Wait I thought
he supported the registration and sent people to the negative zone because something far worse would happen if that did not happen

That's what they eventually chose to come up with after the whole commie uncle thing they came up with at first didnt' convince anybody.

You don't need to read any of the tie ins. But Cap, Fantastic Four, and Spider-Man were some of the best. I'd also recommend Front Line, even though a lot of people felt it was just a bunch of left wing mumbo jumbo.

Frontline was great as long as you think of it as a 10 issue miniseries. There is no 11th issue. Don't even look for one. It's not there.

The entire Civil War was left wing, but so what.

I said partway into Civil War that I wasn't going to buy any Marvel Comics because of how much I despised it, and by god, I've stuck to that. I have no interest in the crappy new universe they've built full of jackholes.

I'll say! My reaction to that was, "Is this story saying that Reed is afraid of the U.S. government? Reed 'We need to get into space, so let's steal a rocket ship' Richards?"

And FF and the main series gave different scenarios for Sue finally leaving Reed. Sheesh! Where were the editors?

I liked Civil War, but I felt it had the potential to be a lot better, one of the best stories ever told in comics, but it was not that great.

Try reading the Amazing Spider-Man issues about the Civil War and then the Main Civil War series. There's NOT CONTINUITY AT ALL between scenes that take place literally back-to-back.

That was supposed to be Reed's reasoning? That was weak

I suppose you don't need to read them, but there was a lot not addressed in the actual Civil War books. I bought both Frontline trades and it took me a while to read them. It starts off slow, but then progresses. But I didn't see what any of it had to do with the Civil War. I didn't gain a greater understanding of the entire War after reading Frontline. Still, fun I guess.
