Comics The Official COLOSSUS Discussion Thread

New house rule:

The first post of a new page should NOT be a mere smilie :woot:

Newsarama had an interview with Christos Gage, writer for the upcoming World War Hulk X-Men mini, and he said that he will use every X-Men that Marvel will allow him to.

Colossus better show up.:cmad:

I stopped collecting Marvel when they killed off Colossus (Uncanny X-Men #390). Yeah, I was THAT upset. Colossus is my all time favorite comic book character and I was infuriated Marvel decided to kill him off.

The best way to show my disappointment and anger was to hurt Marvel where it really counts...their pocket. I wasn't naive enough to think my purchasing power (or lack there of) would have any affect on the mighty Marvel empire...but I had to make a stand and I'm proud that I (and several others) did. The only thing I resent to this day is the financial hurt it placed on my local funny book shop (I collected a lot of Marvel titles). But luckily, they understood.

So if Colossus gets killed off (again) then dohsvydonya Marvel.
I was THAT upset as well, but I just dropped the X-titles. I wrote to Quesada and of course he said he was sorry that I felt that way.

He is. :D

NRAMA: What X-Men are you bringing into the story, then?

CG: As many as I can get away with! And yes, I was able to bring in nearly all my favorites. Colossus, Nightcrawler, Wolverine...Lockheed...it's really a dream come true for me

I really hope this brings Colossus to the power house status he should have always been. Come on big green dude.....

Dunno, the sollicitations seem to be hyping up a Wolvie Vs Hulk matchup so far...

While I am a huge wolvie fan (actually I am kinda fit really) I have seen Logan face Hulk a bunch of times.....I really cant recall anytime that Colossus had a shot at him. I remember the old X-Factor facing the Grey Hulk....but nothing recent. Time to give Pete a shot.

hell, I even hope Juggs gets a few shots in, but I'm sure they're gonna keep all the NE people far away from WWH.

ROFL...

Well...they do say that many comic fans also happen to be Dungeons and DRAGONS players.

Yeah, but still, it's a TINY dragon, lol. Exactly *how* can that be *cool* in any whatsoever relevant way imaginable??? :woot:

...but this is a GUY we're talking about. He's a man, no matter how SMALL certain THINGS are, he'll make a BIG deal about it.

Like it's the great wall of China if you listen to certain ones.

*sigh* Totally set that one up, didn't I? :woot:

Still, my point rather had to do with how TINY pretty much went against the concept of a dragon.

They're supposed to be huge-a$$, be scary, breathe fire and kill stuff.

Not exactly a whole lot of it going for Lockheed. :woot:

Actually, Lockheed can change his size. He can become a big fire-breathing monster like you want.

It was in the New Mutants: Academy X series. I recall...they were in a contest against the Hellions and had to FIND something. It was in the maze being protected by a GINORMOUS Lockheed.

So...
THERE!

And you totally set that one up.

ROFL...that wasn't for the hell of it...that was to get back on topic.

I've only seen it once, so I don't know how often it's happened.

I'm just happy I held back that information so after I teased you dry I could throw it in your face...ROFL.
