One of the things I always thought was rather funny.

People leaving temporarily due to personal issues get more s**t than those who stay & go ballistic/whiny or those who actually defect. Wait, WHAT???

Leaving makes you an a$$hole, but sticking around and acting in such a way that anyone in their right mind should want to punch your face in is... hum... *BETTER*. And defecting is fine as long as one apologizes a whole lot for, what, 2 pages tops?

Oh, and considering how they brought Juggy in, the odds of Pete being slapped around in WWH are, what, 95-99%??

I am new to the message board and I just have to put my two cents in about Colossus even though it has been said numerous times through out the thread....Colossus kicks A$$!!!!

So where do you guys think Colossus stands among the "Power hitters" of the MU? We got Hulk, Thor, Herc, Juggy.....I think he fits in at # 4 or 5.

Well out of those i would have to say it goes

#1 Thor
#2 Hulk
#3 Juggernaut
#4 Colossus
#5 Herc

But I would say Colossus could take on the current Juggernaut and win, but not old school Juggy.

^To bad Colossus doesnt get more love from the MU. He could be a 2 or 3 power character.

He really could be a high power character. And like i read in some of the early posts in this thread he is the #1 Bruiser for the X-Men and I am sure he could hold his own against any of those listed above. But In a prolonged fight I think he would fall to Thor or Hulk. I hate to admit it cause he is soo much cooler of a character.

Well with the current "Unstoppable" arc in Astonishing he is getting alot of press. And I am hoping he is utalized more in the next major X-Men cross over Endangered Species then he is being used in the other current X Books. Colossus comes back to life and that is a huge event...and then they leave him on the back burner. Kinda sucks, but I am sure they are saving him for something big, I mean we all know he won't die in Astonishing X-Men

That'd be horribly out of place, seeing as how he's already spent a substantial amount of time on the "dead" list during his past...

As a whole, Colossus doesn't get a lot of play because of his pretty one dimensional power. He gets covered in metal and punches things. Oh, and he's quiet and shy. There's just not a lot to work with right there... And if you give any MORE power to a guy that can already crush people then it's just overkill.

Juggernaut could....Rogue could..back in the day. and of course Wolverine could, seeing how he is the everyman now. capable of doing anything he wants. oh yeah and Rockslide and Gentle from New X-Men
