A number 12 seed can beat a number 1 seed

Ok, I know this wasn't about basketball, but did anyone else watch the Louisville(1 seed)/Arizona (12 seed) game?! Louisville is my team, because I live here and went to college there. Ihey absolutely spanked Arizona to move on to the Elite 8. Does anyone else here have any teams still in the tourney? (Or maybe I am the only one that cares, who knows.)

I will post this the discussion thread as well. Before I attempt to start my Sunturion vs Spider-Man debate I wanted two clarifications.

1. Which version is Sunturion? I figured it was the Arthur Dearborn version as he was the original and there is more history with that character and that Mike Stone just took over the suit but isn't the real Sunturion. It is not like where a character has gone through some changes (ie Spider-Man) over the years, this is a different person.

2. I believe this is the most recent version of Spider-Man (the one that made the deal to save Aunt May), so any history is questionable, etc. That's why we brought in SM The Other version with the suit that Stark developed.

Sunturian is Arthur Dearborn.

As far as number 2 goes, yes, this is the most recent. So anything that's happened to him BND is definate but before that is a bit questionable. He experienced it, in some strange way that doesn't make sense to me, but nonetheless it's there. And he doesn't have any of his recent powers, such as organic webbing, and the Other storyline's abilities.

I'M BACK!!!!

Whew! The 21 hour straight drive home was a killer! I got home, took the kids to eat Pizza (which the place ended up putting onions on my pizza, and I sent it back...so, I ended up eating my pizza at home by the time they cooked a second), went to Best Buy and the grocery store, then came home and went to sleep.

Disneyland was GREAT, especially when you see it through the eyes of a 6-year old. Everyone really enjoyed themselves; and, we got to the perfect point,. where you've seen enough and are just happy to be home.

Ok, so when will debating end? Did Witchking get around to his debates yet?? I did see he still needs to vote in the two other matches from the last week.

BTW, Congrats Wieg!!!!! That is great news! ANd, good to have you back with us, JH.

Next week going to be a short week, long week, or are we just going to swing with it and alter our schedual? I don't mind either way.

1. Anyway, if not, here is my take on it. Sunturion is the one pictured, which is the older version. It's the one with the history and such, and the one which I believed we wanted when discussing him. (If JH and Wieg thinks differently, let me know.)

2. Most recent version of Spider-Man would be the one with Mephisto erasing a lot of his history, and events would be up to whichever storyline was going in December. (Remember, if you are in the middle or beggining of a storyline when December was hitting, you cannot use it.) SO, this is Brand New Day Spidey!
