Haha, I really wasn't beating myself up. I am being lighthearted. Of course I like to win, but I'm doing this for fun, I'm not taking it too seriously. Oh, and I will turn my streak around...starting with YOU!!!!! BWAHAHAHAHA!(ok maybe....if I'm lucky...)

Yeah, by rules it'd be no. It sucks though. I just checked and Nova let it go in issue 17. 18 is the last issue of continuity for the in this tournament. So Nova had the Worldmind from Nova: Annihilation 1-4, Annihilation 1-6, Nova 1-17, and in Annihilation: Conquest 6... a total of 28 issues. Then in 1 issue he doesn't have it and that's the version I'd be stuck with. It was so close to the deadline that I'm hoping you guys wouldn't mind making an exception... but if majority would rather not then I understand completely.

I am sure we discussed this before we drafted him. We agreed that Nova wouldn't have the Worldmind.

I looked back and we actually never talked about it as far as I can tell. We just listd Nova on the list and everyone approved and that was that. Unless I missed something.

I'm having a great time writing Deadpool. I'm just hoping this doesn't make people remember how much they love him and ignore the actual debate (which is a fairly simple premise so far). That's actually the reason I started my opening debate the way I did to remind people to respect the debate and to not just vote on favortism. I know it's a gamble in hurting me but I just couldn't ignore the chance to play with Deadpool's ability to break the 4th wall. And I even used it in my opening debate to prove a valuable point (now from there it's just fun, but still).

I of course agree with you and hope that Deadpool doesn't get votes just because people like him. Don't get me wrong, I want people to vote for Deadpool, but beacuse they think he can win the match, not because of favortism.

I'm wondering how much this swine flu is going to be effecting the box office this summer. If I lived in New York, I'm not sure how much I'd want to sit in a theater with a bunch of strangers at a showing of Wolverine.

So you've got thoughts about all the other matches... no opinions on Karnak VS Darkstar? Do we know who the winner faces?

If I had to choose...I might go for Karnak. Since Darkstar isn't allowed to remove a character from the battlefield, she's more limited to her powers this season. Now, I don't know a lot about her character; but, I think there might be plenty of evidence in comics about how she can be beat.

Still, if you just go with what's down on paper, Darkstar can seem impressive.

Best thing, you get to choose who goes against whoever wins. That's when you'll want to make your decision. I would think whether it's Death's Head II or KIA, you'd want someone like Karnak, who can sense a character's weak spot.
