I thought it was LA but I was just asking. I used to go to Disneyland quite often even though I had always preferred magic mountain.

I have also been to Disneyland Paris which can be quite fun.

I went to Disney World in Orlando once when I was about 5 or 6. All I remember is being that that 10,000 Leagues Under the Sea or whatever it's called and looking up to see the surface and being disappointed.

My list is submitted. It's not that fine-tuned; but, I figured I better just get it done.

I think I did about 200 in a rough order. Randomized the rest and did little tweaking to them.

I might do some more reordering, but I haven't had the time or patience to be as methodical as I usually am.

That's about the same as I did. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, though I think I would have liked to change the order of my first few, but being that I've already looked at so many other lists I won't make any changes to it.

The boards sure are bad today!

I've been noticing many characters I wish I had higher on my list now; but, I wanted to get it over with; so, that way I can have the brackets ready for you guys as soon as the characters are dispersed.

I just finished with Bracket 1! I'm doing it the same way I did it in the past, which is sticking all the characters in a bag, shaking it up many, many times, and pulling the names out of the bag. So far, the matches look better than the previous two years. Since many of the ubers are out of this thing, most matches are much more even. Plus, now that I put in my list, I'm seeing a few characters I have somewhat high on my list I'm hoping I don't get.

Since you are the disperser of characters and haven't finished tweaking your own list, I'm only going to send the brackets to JH right now. Once you give everyone their character lists, I'll present them to the group. (Also, I'll ask for any assistance in putting your names with your characters, like I did last season. That helped quite a bit.)

I prefer classic Spider-Man. Get rid of Frankie Raye. She's a lame Torch.

Getting rid of Raye is fine, but classic Spidey doesn't have the experiences of The Other. So he's gonna be at a distinct disadvantage.

Both characters have a good chance in this contest...but, I'll go with Frankie Raye if you guys think that's the best choice.

Personally, I'd sooner have a Frankie Raye and Spider-Man than a character who probably doesn't stand a chance, like Pixie or Bug.

BTW, the left over character in my drawing of Brackets is Abyss (AoA). I don't even mind saying that he got the bad luck of the draw, and we just drop him. (He's a good character; but, AoA is so yesterday in terms of relevance.)

There's probably far better characters to remove than those two. Spidey was just fresh in my mind.

I bring up the FF category because I feel a sort of ownership. I don't feel guilty offering up one of them.


And if this is the Bug from Micronauts then you are underestimating him, my friend, and I will (tic) kick your butt with him.

Hey, there is one other solution. The last character picked in the draft gets dropped. Then, Wieg just tells me who that character is, and I'll replace him with Abyss.

I can see if I can adjust the program to tell us who the last character drafted is, because right now it wouldn't. Then we just drop that character from the tourney because no one thought enough of them to worry about pickign them up anyway.

And man, I want to look over these brackets so bad but I'm only on lunch break and have to be leaving again soon. So excited!

Since I was the last one to submit my picks does that mean we can, get this road on the show?

I am curious to see how this draft comes out more than anything.

I think so. I mentioned trying to get a few more people but I've not gotten any replies so far. W mentioned he may have a few people he can ask, but as of now we're just waiting on him to finish tweaking his list before we do the draft.

So Phaed and W, for the record, I'm okay with getting this show on the road.


And I looked over the brackets... there's some good matches in there, and I'd say at least 90% of them could go either way. This will be a good season!
