I would like to lodge a complaint because I am getting rebuttals on Wednesday night just before the vote when I am obviously asleep and not in a position to respond whereas for the previous day there was nothing. I reall do not feel this is very fair to me. It does not mean I wuold win just that at least I would have a chance to respond to certain statements before the votes started.

If you are talking about mine, it was a good 8 hours before the voting started. I tried to do it on Tuesday night but my browser closed on me (which actually happened a couple of times in my opening debates)and I lost what I had. It was too late to start over again, so I did it the next morning (at work). I hate doing it then but had no choice because I wanted to get it in ASAP. I would have finished sooner but again work comes before anything else and I was busy during the morning.

I have had seen opening debates at midnight the night before, which I didn't see until I was at work the next day, and I have seen major rebuttals within an hour of voting ended. To me that is a more extreme scenario.

I'm sorry man, there was no underhanded attempt on my part. I was actually rushing to get it in as early as possible as I thought you come on a little later.

I did not see it until today but yours was not the first one and I did not mean to target you. In last week's matches, it was the same thing.

And I am not so botherred about this weeks matches as much as I am by it happening in the future.

I am not looking to change this week or affect the voting.

Summer vacation for my kids start tomorrow; so, I'll be a bit more pressed for time, since 3 days out of the week, my 6-yr old daughter will be coming with me to work. That includes Fridays. BUT, I did just download pictures for Threads 1-3. Hopefully votes can be in, and we can get the matches set up by the morning tomorrow.

With 2 more weeks left of Round 1, does that mean we'll be able to have a break between Rounds around the first week of July??

Anyway, I'll type this up first before I forget. I think we've lost Vanguard. He hasn't posted on CoM since May 29th and hasn't been on the hype itself since the 11th. Do we want to distribute his characters real quick before the next week or just do it after the first round is completed in case he comes back with good reasoning?

Anyway, Sentry will sure suck after this season. I've been catching up on my Dark Reign titles, and he gets his butt handed to him pretty easily on quite a few occassions.

Well, I have no idea how many characters each of us has, but I know I started off with a fairly low amount due to Witchking having not debated a number of rounds. So if the numbers don't work out to me getting some sort of big advantage I'd offer to take over Van's characters too.

If that would put my numbers above everyone else's though then I second the distribution suggestion.

JH, if you are on and able, could you take care of Thread 4? I think I can get through Threads 1-3 before daughter starts to bother me at work.

Also, Random didn't vote for one match in Thread 4, but it really doesn't effect the outcome of the match; so, I let it slide. There was a tie between Baron Strucker and Zhou Cheng; so, that will be a rematch this week in Thread 2.

One other bit of information you might not know, Random. In your rematch with Zhou Cheng, this is the one instance in this contest where you get to retain all the information you've learned from your previous battle. So, while it's a new location, any information Baron Strucker has learned about his opponent in your first battle can be used in the rematch.
