Yep, Ronnie is most hated in the house by viewers, I think. Lots of fighting last night, and Ronnie acting like he didn't vote to evict Braden. Well, he can't hide that for long, when he has to pick nominations, I would think.

They really left a LOT out of that fight between Lydia/Braden/Kevin. A tv viewer would have been confused...but, Braden called Kevin a "beaner" and I think to "go back to Mexico." Of course, Kevin isn't Mexican, and that's why everyone was in an uproar. (On the West Coast, they blipped out most of what Chima said during the Eviction Cerminony...was it the same with the East Coast?)

No, we got it all. I think there was a line or two toward the end but that was it. And I'm surprised about them editing that. I wonder if they're trying to play up Kevin and Lydia as the bad guys and wanted to victomize Braden more? I was a little confused but I still got the jist.

Really though, I only wanted Braden to last to spite Russel, also because he's a good ally for Jeff, who is my favorite at the moment.

As for the contest... I don't know. People are falling off left and right. There's only, what, six players still going consistantly? Hellstormer doesn't have many characters left toward the beginning so that's understandable. We'll have to get ahold of Midnight Ice and Vanguard to see what's up. I'd hate to dish out even more characters.

In case anyone's thinking of watching the new harry potter movie, I thought it was quite good. The best Potter movie yet.

I did have a big issue with some "minor" changes made to the climax scene, but not enough to make me not like the movie, just enough to eat away at me from the inside out until one day I'm just a bitter old man sitting on my porch with my shotgun loaded and waiting for those dang kids to step onto my lawn....

Even I'm confused as to what I'm talking about now.

I think JH is seeing it tonight. I agree, "the best Potter movie yet."

The people who are complaining the most are those who've read the book, like, 5 times at least. I've heard, "They left so much out." Well, it was already 2 1/2 hours, and you know Hollywood wouldn't dare make it any longer!

I love the gal they got who plays Luna. She steals every scene she's in! JK Rowling needs to make a book, just following her around. It would be a hoot!

Yeah I loved it! I think it may be my favorite of the series thus far. I've read the book but remember so little of it. I know there was a lot more of Dumbledore's memories about Tom Riddle that wasn't included, and the final battle was cut A LOT! But I think it all worked out for the betterment of the film. I'll give my thoughts as to why I think this was in spoilers. If anyone here doesn't want the final of the last book/movie ruined, don't click the spoiler.

I know the final scene of Half Blood Prince had a big battle all throughout Hogwarts with Harry chasing Snape throughout the castle. The Order of the Phoenix showed up and at least one was really hurt, one of the not shown in movie Weasley brothers, Bill. Etc. I think this works for the best thought because, first off, neither Bill or Charlie have shown up in any movie so it'd be wierd if they showed up here. But I guess this also means that Fluer won't be back either, sadly. But the thing is, in the final Potter Book, the huge final battle of everything takes place in Hogwarts. If this happened here then it may lesson the impact of the battle in the final movie so it's probably best for the overall feeling of the series. While I think it lessons this ending some, what we were given was certainly enough to really give the impact that the book gave and for that I still think its successful.

But yeah, ovearll.... freaking phenominal!

On other news, I just got engaed this weekend. I will give a description of the proposal in photos once I have them downloaded. She said yes almost before I finished the question.

I'm not planning on it, but like Phaed said, a lot of people are busy due to Summer. I've had a very busy past few weeks myself. And no, I've not heard from anyone.

But if everyone is as busy as I have been I guess I don't mind taking a few more weeks off, but only if everyone's okay with it. I'd hate to keep going on... what... 6 votes per week? But if we have to then so be it.

Okay, the matches are closed but I'm leaving here in a minute for a majority of the night. I'll try to get the matches up tonight if I get the chance (though my wife is BEGGING me to watching a movie with her). So if either Phaed or W can get them up before then that'd be great. Otherwise I'll get to them as soon as possible.

Good God!!! I've been trying to get the matches up for days and I KEEP GETTING INTERUPTED!!! I started thread 1 almost 2 hours ago and was interupted by my landlady. We live in a duplex and apparently she realized while renovating the neighboring duplex that our wires are switched in places so that we're paying for some of their electric bills and they're paying for some of our bills. They're still working on that but I thought I'd leave them to their job and try to get this thing going. My goal is to get at least threads 1 and 2 up before I get to bed tonight.

So being as it's already Monday... how do we want to do the actual week? Do we want to just wait until Friday to start debates or go ahead and open it when we get them all up and just keep them going until next Friday so that it's just an extended week? I think that's the safest bet.

Okay, got threads 1 and 2 up. I have to get some reading in now before going to sleep so I'm going to sign off. If anyone else gets the chance to finish up that'd be great. Otherwise I'll see if I can finish it up tomorrow after work.

I co-run a book club and our next meeting is this weekend, meaning I have to finish the book by then and I'm only halfway through and I'm rushing to finish it. Maybe I shouldn't have read the entire Twilight series between last month's book and this month's. Never again!
