The Official Cyborg suit thread

I'm thinking something closer to the DCU trailer suit…

Me too. That can go along with the shoulder things

I don't remember Cyborg even being in that comic.

He was in it just not in a major way. His look in that book is more human with shiny metal look to it. But for the most part in the book he looked human which IMO given the technogly that they have in the comics anyways is how he should look. You should not be able to tell there is anything wrong with him. Which is why I liked the kingdom come look.

Cyborg suit? I thought he's naked. :woot:

On a serious note though, while it looks cool and is surely much better than older design where he indeed seemed to be half-naked, I don't really understand this black undersuit he wears here from a logical standpoint:

If he's permanently synthesized with cybernetic parts, how can he wear what appears to be a mid-layer of cloth between his body and parts that are cybernetic?

Loved to see this suit of this but I fear they're going the New 52 route with Cyborg.

You don't like the New 52 look? His is probably the only one of New 52 I actually like.

Then again, how wrong can you get with a character that is half-machine...

greens been out for years, now a days it's all about Grey suits, with black & white squares/dots

I like the shifting suit idea. That would be visually impressive and potentially a plot point.

More and more, I'm getting stoked for Cyborg.

You know, I would actually prefer him having obvious robot parts over a shifting, incognito suit. The psychological and social ramifications of a person having artificial implants could potentially be something we haven't seen before in superhero movies. Maybe it could even be an allegory for disability like in Teen Titans.

Cyborg has the potential to be the Ironman of the DC universe, with the suit, and the fact that he does not have a secret identity per se. I would like to see his suit shift as required in different situations, bringing versatility and intrigue to the character. However, IMO one of his hands should be flesh, so he can still interact as a human with others.

What if Snyder's Cyborg is something less bulky and more unique like this new suit from the comics?

I love this new suit!!! I want something similar from Snyder :hubba

Here's the description of Cyborg concept art from comic con, courtesy of Wally_West:

Cyborg art and JL concept were dope but we didn't see much of either. The Cyborg concept art was the one same one from the JL art except him singled out. His costume his really hard to describe, it almost like the cyborg part of him was growing out of him, if that makes any sort of sense.

I think it'd be cool to see Cyborg make a transition from bulky and visually unappealing to streamlined and badass.

I also agree with those who think he should look like an actual cyborg, and not like a machine with a human face.

That Wally_West description king of sounds like the pic posted by John-An
