I'd like a tv series better. Something similar in length to the Tudors or the Sopranos on HBO.

I just started a new save yesterday. A few posts back, I saw someone mentioning how cool it would look to see a character, high in the "Unarmed" stat, punching Radscorpions and etc, in the head lol - little to say, I was inspired.
I think that was me. I'm thinking I might start a new character up and do the same, since it's been so long since I played either of my other ones.

Stop talking about a Fallout television series... you're going to make me want one... and I would end up mentally scheduling it for right before the imaginary Walking Dead television series. For the depressing block on HBO.

lol it stayed in my mind as soon as I read it yo. I started my new save last night, but Im still debating on to be evil or not.

What are some of you all's characters like though? As far as, what perks and etc. do you focus on?

I'm a bit of a gun/tinker freak so I tend to focus on small guns, lockpicking and machine skills, and medicine.....also speech perks are always good to go with

I'm usually heavy on the sneak and the small weapons and ranged weapons. Small guns is my speciality. And I'm a ghost.

I'm pretty sure I'm at the end of the game, the next main quest is "TAKE IT BACK!"...and I've gotta say, I'm grown attached to my character. I don't think I'll beat it until I get the STEEL dlc, just out of fear of losing this character once I beat it.

I'm starting a new game too, probably as a neutral character...his name? "Mad" Max Rockatansky.

Now, if I can find a "Mad" Max CAP.

Just make a separate save, so you can play through the original ending before Steel comes out.

I focused on small arms and anything that upped my AP and chance for crits/headshots with my first character. I'd just go into VATS and pop people's heads off with Lincoln's Repeater.

I forgot what I was doing with my second character. I think I was just following a similar build as my first character, just evil.

That's what I did....keep one save right before you go on that mission and then go off and do whatever

I made separate saves almost every time I saved the first time I played. I had upwards of 100 saves.

so last time I played, I raided the LOB building and found the Zu Rong pistol....is it supposed to light people on fire??

I do have multiple saves, but yeah...I hadn't even though of that. I'll do that one for sure.

My main guy is pretty well balanced too. I think I upped his strength and luck in with a perk or something.

I've decided to essentially make my next guy a blunt instrument. Intelligence is by the floor, as is luck, with his strength near the roof. Should be fun to see the difference.

That'd be a good unarmed guy. Intelligence ups your AP, but since unarmed doesn't allow you to target any body parts in VATS, you might as well just leave it low. Hmm, this should be a really fun build to try out.

Bout to download The Pitt right now. Feeling real good. When I start up Fallout, does an option for it just pop up? Or is it going to be in-game, like - I gotta go walk around or something?

I love that part of Fallout...and the random beacons and stuff you get on the Pip Boy

Is it faster to download a game add-on, or full game from the marketplace online than it is to download it from the marketplace on the x-box?

I'm sure that mainly depends on your internet connection and the traffic on the server at the time. Why does it matter?

Im downloading the Pitt add-on from the marketplace, on my x-box and it seems slow to me. So I was just wondering if downloading from my computer would be faster or not. But Im pretty sure its just my connection thats sluggish. As long as its downloading, its downloading though.

My downloads off of XBLA range from lightning fast to sluggish. It depends on a lot of factors.

All this DLC is eating into my 20 GB.. I'm going to need to bite the expensive bullet soon and buy a bigger HD.

You know what the best idea I ever had in Fallout 3 was?

Saving right before releasing the Super Mutant Behemoth in the slaver camp. :hehe:

Nice...you can release it from the cliffs with a sniper rifle....just shoot the generator to the left of the door
