On the boat?

Oh, I think I might have to turn on my Fallout 3 before Mothership Zeta. :o

I feel satisfied now that I got my piece of brain back and that I microwaved emitted Tobar.

So is this game worth the buy ? Been a little on the fence & I love Open World games Oblivion, both Fables etcboth KOTORs etc

I spent close to 80 hours on this game. Lots and lots of things to do. Probably one of best games I ever played.

Of course it is. If you love Oblivion you should have already gotten this game. But I would wait until the fall when the release the game again but with all the DLC included. It will save you a lot of money.

+1

Ive beaten it so many times, its so fun to gain all the achievements.

Yeah, part of me wished I'd had waited for the GOTY edition.

But, certainly...without a doubt...Fallout 3 offers the best DLC for any game. It's just the game that keeps on giving.

I've spent a little over...I dunno, maybe 60 hours or so. And I have not beaten the game yet. I've got two files, one good and one neutral...and even with those two I'll often find myself just wandering the wastelands just for the hell of it, or maybe just to barter.

If you love Oblivion...and Fable 2, I think you'll love this. It's sorta of the same idea, only in a completely different setting.

I'll have to hand my twenty bucks for the last two DLC, but maybe once I'm through the Pitt.

I know I'm turning a $60 game into a $110 game but I don't care, I didn't want to wait. :o

Yeah.

At this point, I'm just like "**** it, I'm in the hole already".

And such a glorious one it is.

I just need that last DLC.

Then ill be able to hit Level 30 and the last of the achievements!

I wonder if they'll raise the cap again in another DLC. That'd be great, I think.

As of now, Mothership Zeta is the final DLC and the level cap will never raise again.

I kind of want them to stop with the DLC and move on to something new.

Well, Mothership Zeta is the last DLC. Then comes the movie :oldrazz:

:wow:

You must be playing on very hard.

I finished a good chunk of the original game and a lot of exploring after I'd hit level 20. I'm sure if i'd stopped when I hit 20, and then finished the game and the DLC when Broken Steel came out, I would have been pretty close to 30 by the end of it all too.

I did a lot of exploring. Actually right now, I'm at 95 at least for all my skills some of them up to 100. I'm sure if I found a few more books I'd 100 everything. :o I also did side quests that weren't Achievement ones.

Point Lookout is fun. It's really hard though. I've been hoarding Stimpaks all before this and had like 200 going in, I never really needed them, but I'm down to like 20 and I've just started the 3rd mission.

I absolutely *loved* the hallucination walk in the Sacred Bog.

On second thought, don't play the game if you are just going to do the main quest. Actually take the disc put it back in the case and return it to whatever store you got it from and tell them you rather live in ignorance than enjoy the awesomeness that is this game.

Well thanks for the advice. It's not that I don't want to experience the game to it's fullest, but it's hard to devote too much time to gaming when you're in grad school, married, and working.

I just don't want to start the game and then not be able to finish it. Also, it kind of sucks when you invest time into a game and then stuff comes up making it so you can't play for a few weeks and then you start to forget about what's going on in the game.

I'm pushing 80 hours in this game which I will admit is a lot more than I'm use to but...I've only done a few hours a night on it, with some times going as much as 4.

But this is not the game for you if you just want to do the main quest.

How will the GOTY work? Will it have the DLC already implemented into the game?

I'm assuming that the Pitt, Anchorage, Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta would be Side Quests (either activated automatically once you leave the Vault or when you come in vicinity of their locations) and Broken Steel would activate after the main.
