That in particular is really cool, taking the derivative with implicit diferentiation can be really confusing (e.g. e^xy = ln (x + y)). I don't like these at all, but logarithmic differentiation is pretty good.

shuttlepod_one said:
The big thing to remeber is that the derivative of e^x is e^x because it would be e^x ln e, and since ln e is one, when you multiply that by e^x, you get e^x.

There is just so much stuff to remember about that number.

You didnt have 2 make it soooooo complicated you could of just said it equals itself.

I just explained the proof behind it.

BTW, that was a long test.

We were transferring our old video tapes to DVD's, and I found this vitally important milestone in my son's social development . . .HIS FIRST WEDGIE!

It went sort of like this:

Linda (my wife taping): Give him a wedgie.

Ryan: What's a wedgie?

Me: I don't know if I can tell you, but if you really want one, maybe I'll give one to you.

Ryan: I WANT ONE! I WANT ONE! Can I have a wedgie?

What do you guys think of the mess that is X3 right now? That board is really depressed today, like mourning death.

Considering that FF is another FOX property, I can't help but feel a tad concerned about what's going on over there.

lol good thing he didn't ask for an atomic wedgie lol

That's just...hilarious. :D

The funny thing is Gary just turned and walked away from the poor boy, leaving him wondering what the hell just happened, and a burning sensation.

I was literally in TEARS last night when I found out Vaughn. Well, I didn't really cry, but it felt like I was (if that makes any sense:o).
But seriously this is the worst news I have heard this year. I'm not kidding, I was so looking forward to Vaughn's take on the franchise. . .and now its in complete hell. A film scheduled to begin filming in August with no director. It may seem like a long time to get a director but in actuality it isn't. You not only have to find someone who is good. But a director whose schedule does not conflict with X3's filming. It isn't impossible, but it is quite scary. This movie is about to go into production very soon and still we have NO director.

I only hope Fox can find a very good replacement between now and August. This is a sad time in the X3 board:(

Yeah it's pretty pathetic over there, but rightfully so. Primarily I'm an X-Men fan, so I feel that pain too. I tried snapping some folks out of the doom-gloom mood to look at things in a different light, but it's just...sad.

FOX will get it together. They HAVE to.

Ok, I cant watch FF tv spots cuz ever since I rebooted my computer I lost Quicktime. I tried downloading it at apple.com but when ever I try to watch a clip it doesnt work. Can someone tell me how to get a link quicktime version that WORKS please.

Thanx

Of course the joke ended up being on me since five-year-olds don't do their own laundry. I can't remember for sure, but I'm sure I must have been the one trying to get the skid-marks out of his underoos.

Sorry Sentinel, but if you can't download it from Apple, I wouldn't know where else to look. Is it possible that a different player is trying to play the Quicktime format and causing problems?

For me Story seemed like a very appropriate choice given the source material. Although I would have preferred Chris Columbus or Whedon. Like I said months ago, if this movie turns out not so well... I won't be blaming him at all but with the higher ups (producers/Rothman) for trying to muck with the film.

I think the whole X3 is just more evidence of how damned "resilient" FOX is in wanting control; proof before was the whole Daredevil "screw character development", Singer's ridiculously forced and short shoot for X-Men/X2 and their screwing around with directors like Fincher. Perhaps they didn't do this for F4 but if this film is a success it makes me more weary if the producers or people like Rothman decides to step in try to justify their influence/job and take "credit" ie; X-Men 3.

Ummmm....... *drools and tries tot aste it but licks plain computer screen*
That sounds good except for the "orgasmic" part, sounds like organs but Im guessing it means organic.

Obviously, you've never had a really good piece of chocolate cake.

Actually I have, i think.....Now can someone tell me what orgasmic means?

Sorry. Some things you're just going to have to find out about in the back seat of a Nova with a six-pack of Rolling Rock like the rest of us did.

Iceman, who was on your old avatar??? He was cute..... why did you change it?
