While I tend to like the energy Ryan Reynolds brings to his roles, he's not the best actor. Why is there this attitude that no one but him could play the role of Wally West well?

he could be he could not be we will have to wait to see what the story is going to end up being and brody's flash role in it if he does end up still being flash for the film.

As i said many times and its my sih we will just have to wait and see what ends up happening with jla we could luck out and most of the cast are recast with better people and we could end up with a good film or we could end up with a flop we dont really know right now way to early to judge the film fairly and all that.

Costume wise I'd love to see Wally in the Classic RED & YELLOW suit . Adding the lenses on is optional .

I think if they used the same sleek material James Acheson used to make SPIDER-MAN's Classic RED & BLUE suit look visually amazing on the big screen . The Flash's suit wouldn't look sily, but instead very cool .

I think Im against the lenses. Realistically thinking, someone running that fast would probably want to stop things from flying into his eyes, but screw reality.

I'm pretty sure, i bet the world that he is for the purpose, at least the smart-ass of the OC character. I mean, Flash is comedic relief in the cartoons too, so it shoudln't be that muchof a surprise.

Barry!! He was the most original, the best, the most powerful, had the best enemies, best identity, best supporting cast, and best origin!!! HE SHOULD BE JLA's FLASH!!! And if he isn't, than I'll be EXTREMELY PISSED!!!!!

How in the hell would they make Wally's origin believable anyway? What, he...er.....well, he wasn't the first, he was actually the first's sidekick who coincidentally one day got hit by lightning and bathed in the exact same chemicals in the exact same place that the first got his powers at and then when the first died he became took over as the new Flash. I smell BS.

Doesn't make sense like:

Police Scientist gets hit by lightning and bathed in strange chemicals one night and gains the ability to move his body in any way at superspeed and decides to be a superhero to help out his city.

Audiences will like that MUCH better than being stuck with a second rate sidekick rip off with similar/less powers and the same personality.

ONLY in the cartoon did they make Wally a joke, boardering on self parody at times even.

Wally in the comics has always had a personality like Barry Allen's. See JLA: The New Frontier for EXACTLY what the Flash's personality should be like.

And Barry's suit needs to be red and gold. Do a burgundyish red like the Spider-Man costume with gold trim on gloves and waist, and gold ear/wingy/lightning pieces and gold boots and gold bolt that has THREE (3) zags instead of two (like the dumb look on the cartoon) across a white circle al la the moon.

Out of ALL the JLA heroes' costumes, the Flash is the one who's suit needs the LEAST tweaking, if any at all. He's as sleak and modern and stylized looking as a superhero could possibley get. He doesn't need lens or shades or whatever added, keep his look as close to the comics as possible but with a stylized material. And just cuz the suit is close to the comics doesn't mean the material has to be "Adam West VS Tim Burton", there are many OTHER materials available and I'm sure they could find something that is respectful of the character and looks good.

oh ok. I never read any of his solo comics really. But just the casting alone makes me think they are going that route.

But whenever he tries to vibrate thru things they explode so he really can't.

And the gold boots are fine......the nipples on the batsuit were tolerated, so why not gold boots?

And Barry is the most powerful.
