It comes out tomorrow but I did pre-order it. I was unable to resist temptation...Did anyone pick up the Genext with Gambit in it? Was it any good? I didn't get to pick it up.![]()

Haha! Whoops! My bad! But how would you rate it on a scale of 1-10 (10 = amazing)Did you not read my last post?![]()

I dunno, 6 or 7 I guess, more towards the 7. It's no X-Factor or anything, but I wasn't confused or disappointed in how Gambit was presented.![]()
The best Gambit in years (personality wise):

I agree. His two appearences were wonderful.True, they did do a pretty good job of nailing Gambit's character. He was much more like early-90s Gambit than I expected he'd be.
The voice work was awful, but that's forgiveable with good characterization. I hope he gets more appearances in Season 2. Gambit did play a pretty large role in the Age of Apocalypse (the inspiration for Season 2), so they have room to work him in.

Claremont is one of the few writers that can actually write a decent GambitI became a fan after reading X-men 1 penciled by Jim Lee. Gambit is bad ass in that issue. Back then, Claremont knew how to write Gambit.
He is capable of writing a decent Gambit but he hasn't done it in a long time.
last time he had Gambit was back in X-treme and he did a good job with him there. After that series, Claremont went to UXM and lost Gambit to Austen/MilliganHe is capable of writing a decent Gambit but he hasn't done it in a long time.

moment. When did that ever sound like a good idea?
