2 of them and another guy who wasn't there yesterday are Horde players who we join up with regularly. For multiplayer it will usually be Orrest and another player you haven’t met yet.

If you’re around next weekend I’m trying to arrange another attempt for Scott and you for the no deaths achievement. And the Saturday after (17th August) for the sniper achievement.

It’s called Longshot Mastery and probably the only weapon achievement that is very difficult to get in regular play. You have to get 2 “Supers” - headshotting a rolling opponent with the sniper. People don’t even roll much so you hardly get the opportunity to try.

you have to be a spawn trapping scumbag on gridlock to do that one and be one hell of shot I've seen it done

Yeah that would work. I’ve seen it done in live matches. But it’s hard when you’re actually going for it, plus people seem to roll a lot less nowadays. Although guess you have no choice at a long spawn without 2 walls like Gridlock.

Still waiting for some replies but this Sat would be around 6pm or a bit later for Horde and the Sat after for the sniper achievement would be around 7pm. It depends if Scott can make both of those though.

Gears 5 has officially gone gold, celebrates by releasing list of achievements | GamesRadar+

most of the VS achievements are for Arcade
that sucks for real

they really going to force people to play that escape mode
didn't impress me at all didn't matter who was playing noobs or "veterans"

it kills me that they never factor playing with mute randoms

Me and Orrest will be on most of the time so that’s 3 already. We should usually have enough for 5 player Horde and most of the time 4 or 5 multiplayer.

Yes. The arcade mode is really for new players, players of other games who just want to play casually. I didn’t enjoy it too much. I loved king of the hill though and will be playing that a tonne.
