Maybe for their next trick they'll turn Alan Scott into the new Parallax once Kyle's done being Parallax, thus giving us Allanax.

*bursts stuff laughing*

that's good...but only a young Alan. He could pull it off anyway, being a being of chaos and wild magic.

BTW, the original plot for REBIRTH was the temptation of Alan by the Starheart. Editorial decisions changed it later to Hal and Parallax. Then Kyle and Parallax.

That temptation may still come to pass, too. The 'other' Harlequin mystery was never solved.

Well, she was pretty much always portrayed as an ungrateful ****e. The fact that Kyle came back to Earth to find her banging some other dude in his apartment was just the icing on the cake, really.

Jade was a *****. I lol'd when Kyle threw the guy back in the bathroom when he and Jade were fighting.

I hope Kyle tears the heads of all of Hal's family and eats their skin.

I guess the big fear demon eats the part of his brain that makes up creative costumes.

Yeah, why not? It'll all be wiped off the slate later anyway.

Nah, Johns will probably have Kyle eternally dammed because he's not Hal, and the Kyle we've seen is just a permanent construct Hal has made in Kyle's former honor.

GREEN LANTERN #26
Written by Geoff Johns
Art by Mike McKone & Andy Lanning
Cover by Ivan Reis & Oclair Albert
Setting the stage for the Green Lanterns' role in FINAL CRISIS comes Part 1 of "The Alpha Lanterns," a new story arc written by Geoff Johns with art by Mike McKone (TEEN TITANS)! Who are the Alpha-Lanterns? What bizarre cosmic surgery have they undergone? And how will they affect the future of the Green Lantern Corps?
In the aftermath of the Sinestro Corps War, the Green Lanterns are undergoing an unprecedented reconstruction and reinvention, and the controversial Alpha-Lantern project is in full effect.
Meanwhile, with Sinestro's true machinations for his war revealed to Earth's prime Green Lanterns, Hal Jordan and John Stewart, debate rages across Oa as lines are drawn and crossed, new bonds are formed, and old ones broken.
On sale December 26 • 32 pg, FC, $2.99 US

The cover is a mirror of #21, with Hal and co. instead of Sinestro and his minions.

Ugh, Countdown finally gets it's grubby fingers on the title, in preparation for Final Crisis.

GOD, Ion looks more stupid every time I see that ******ed thing. :(

Where the **** are Kyle and Guy, too? Goddamn useless cover.

The coloring on that cover is bad to legendary proportions. I hope that isn't the final version.

Of course it's the final version. Look at the background: there are Photoshop swirlies.

That doesn't mean it's final. There was that Infinite Crisis cover Jim Lee drew of Power Girl with blue Photoshop rings in the background that wasn't the final cover. At least that cover was colored well.

Yeah, I didn't notice that it was the start of the first post-Sinestro Corps War arc. But why's Ion all host-free in Hal's book, then? I thought Sodam Yat was becoming the new Ion and hanging around in GLC.

Kyle was still called Ion in Atom. Though that could be a mistake on Gail's part.
