and it blew even more so because it was at the expense of kyles much deserved bad assery

It has been doing that for a lot of people even when you go to the DCU blog site it does it

Whoever runs the Source webblog for DC needs to get fired. He's a terrible coder.

The link was working when I posted it, but now it's not.

Here is the page I got it from, but it confirms that Larfleeze is alone and the Orange Lanterns are just constructs he killed when they came after the lamp.

Oh Ok...I kinda figured that's what he was doing, Larfleeze I mean....I was hoping to maybe see Lex as an Orange Lantern but whatever

Makes perfect sense.

How can a person who wields pure greed share the power out.

Are the constructs sentient, then? 'Cause if not, that solicitation for Tales of the Corps confuses me.

Hmm... it was shown a lot of times by Kyle Rayner that if you have the power of a whole Power Battery to yourself your constructs can be sentient.

The way I took the solicit was that it's gonna show the orange lanterns tirades right before being an orange lantern. IE: their final moments in their life.

Either that, or it was about the giant head floating thing that ate the Sinestro Corps member and almost killed Stel, and that thing is the only other Orange Lantern, which is allowed to survive cause he's ya know, as old as Larfleeze, or the first one that Larfleeze took, or is needed for whatever reason. Ya know, just some random ties.

Hmm. Well, I guess I'll find out for sure in Tales of the Corps.

So that effectively puts Larfleeze at something approaching pre-retcon Ion-level? :wow:

I see Kyle ending up with some sort of elevated status after all is said and done.....I'm getting that he's more important than we all realize....

You'd expect otherwise from a being that arguably pre-dates the Green Lantern Corps and is such a risk to safety of the universe that the Guardians gave him an entire section of space just so he'd chill out?

Larfleeze is just such a total badass that nothing can compare.

I don't actually know anything about Larfleeze, to be honest. He's only been in Green Lantern so far, remember? ;)

Hmm, not technically I guess.

That was Kyle with Parallax's power too not just the Central Battery (or at least now the retcon says it was).

No, Parallax was in Hal when Kyle was first Ion, 'member? The Spectre was still trying to burn him out of Hal's soul. Parallax isn't the power Hal had when he was Parallax. All he really was -- according to the retcon -- was the motivator. The power that Hal had from when he tried to remake the universe was all Central Power Battery power, like Kyle had when he was Ion.

Look. It's complicated.

And I'd venture to say that, yes, Larfleeze could possibly be that powerful, since he apparently is in possession of the one and only orange power battery in existence.

Since it wasn't working for most;

With bonus Black Lantern 101;

Man, what the hell is the thing that looks like a mix between Falcor from Never Ending Story, Snuffulupagus and Mr. Drippy? On the top right of the Orange Lantern page, not the hurdurp teeth missing thing, but right under him.

That's about the creepest thing I've seen in comics. If that thing were coming up to me, holy ****.
