I think Sinestro is angrier at the fact that the Guardians knew about all this stuff all along and through lies and deceit hid it all under the guise of "protection". Sinestro has now delusion about how he leads his people. He sees it as a means to an end. The Guardians spent centuries lying and covering things up to the point that when Abin found out about it they practically made him an outcast or made him seem like he was loosing his mind.

- Kyle Rayner gets attacked by a Black Lantern that.... comes from a Fridge. =P
- Dex-Starr the raging cat is from Earth.
- Atrocitus finds solace in the New York City subways," Johns said.
- A fan asked Johns why he chose the character of Black Hand as an antagonist in "Blackest Night." "If Sinestro’s the dark mirror of Hal Jordan, Black Hand is the exact opposite [of Jordan]," the author explained.
- ohns said that Larfleeze’s oath will be revealed in an upcoming issue of "Green Lantern." He also stated that future "Green Lantern" storylines will further explore Space Sector 2814, and that the Cowgirl character will once again rise to the fore of the title. He has plans for a variety of new villains, and in response to a fan’s question about how long he plans on staying with the "Green Lantern" title, Johns said, "I like to tell big stories, and I’m going to be telling big stories for awhile."
- John has plans for over 5 years of GL stories.
- Jordan will travel to the 58th century.

This is probably the best thing I've ever heard. Geoff Johns is possibly the greatest comics writer who has ever lived. But I hope Mahnke leaves the title as soon as possible. His art isn't bad, but there seems to be a discontinuity between the art than Ivan Reis and Philip Tan were doing prior to Blackest Night, and Doug Mahnke's current work on the title.

I wouldn't go that far. He's a great writer, to be sure, but a lot of his "great writing" is because he decides what he wants to be canon and not, and completely ignores a LOT of continuity.

Like Bendis.

Which parts of continuity has/does Johns ignore/d? Not calling you a liar, just not sure what you're referring to.

One of the panel’s most puzzling questions came from the writer Mark Waid, who had surreptitiously taken a spot in line for the mic at the front of the room. "I have a question for Geoff Johns," Waid began, poking fun at the fact that most of the questioners had focused their attention on Johns instead of the other panelists. Waid asked if Hal Jordan would be having any more adventures in the 58th century – a reference (in true Mark Waid fashion) to an obscure Green Lantern story from 1961. Curiously, he also mentioned Barry Allen, who didn’t appear in the original John Broome story to which Waid was referring. Johns answered "yes," and the entire interaction seemed steeped in playfulness, as if Waid knew more than he was letting on and was nudging Johns into giving some hints at future "Green Lantern" plot points.

Anyone know this story? BeeDubya?

Don't look at me, I don't give a **** about Hal or Barry's continuity. :awesome:

Oh Corp. We all know which 90s chick is coming from the Fridge. ;)

Yeah, and Jade already showed Kyle her Black Lantern moves. So that's 2 of Kyle's dead exes. Donna would be the third. :oldrazz:

Extremely. But pretty much par for the course with Kyle at this point. Things have gotten weird for him since he became a second-stringer. :o

Pete Tomasi's writing seems pretty predictable. I remember seeing this coming as soon as I saw the last page of GL #25.

**GLC 46 SPOILERS**

The fridge in space literally made me laugh out loud, I read it in the parking lot by my lcs. People probably gave me some weirds looks.

Right? I was cracking the **** up. The best part was the Black Lantern symbol was a magnet.

Haha, yeah the fridge was gold.

That Dove-bullet idea was genius too. Oh, is that fat elephant like the only Blue Lantern around? jeez, poor guy was workin overtime :(

Except the cracks about Arkillo's tongue. 'Wog made it sound like Arkillo was a chatterbox :(

Well he did talk a lot of **** during their fight in SCW

Such a great issue. Laughing my ass off all the way to the end. I'm going to miss Gleason on this title.

Vath.

Yeah man, that Vath scene mad me angry. He better get some Mongul-esque construct legs or badass mechanical ones.

I'm sure he'll just make construct legs. That robot GL reconstructed like 2/3rds of his body out of ring constructs after the Sinestro Corps War.

The fridge scene was really good. Poor Kyle's got more dead people to confront than any other Lantern save John, it seems. Speaking of, it felt weird to see John in GLC and actually doing stuff. I'd almost forgotten he exists because Johns was doing (or not doing) whatever with him in GL for so long. I like having him in GLC, though. He'll be a good semi-replacement for Guy when Emerald Warriors starts.
