I'm also not in the boat of possible losing millions of dollars. The studios only got about half of that so the studios only got 6 million. So their still out 47 million dollars not counting the promotional budget.

BTW, Planet Terror was over the top and entertaining, but if I had seen as a solo film and not in this ''grindhouse" experience. I'd probably say ''Damn, that was weak and crappy."

Death Proof was the much better film.

I loved the Machete, nazi-she-male-wolf one, and thanksgiving trailerst:

Planet Terror was pure insanityt: I'm not sure how best to describe it other than that.

Death Proof was for me. The long draught out dialogue wasn't engaging, and it made you long for Kurt Russel even more. People in my theater were leaving during this one, and I almost did the same.
