Just watched it and absolutely loved it, now the only Hellboy books I read was the recent 2 issue mini about a folk tale or something so I wasn't familiar with the source material beyond that and the movei, but I really dug this movie. the art style was amazing and the colors were fantastic, the story was enough to keep me interested and the VO's sounded nice. I would say it was almost as good as the Spawn Animated Series and one of my favorite animated comic films under Mask of the Phantasm and return of the Joker.kooguy911 said:During the premiere of SOS, discuss in this new thread during commercials or whatnot. I tihnk, I could be wrong, that the DVD will have both movies on it so they have to wait till they show the second.MaskedManJRK said:Damn! That's kind-of a long time. Why the wait?![]()

That makes sense.Hellmistress said:Nope, they're being released individually. The release of Sword of Storms on DVD is to coincide with the screening of Blood and Iron on TV.

TheVileOne said:Also, where was Bruttenholm, wasn't he supposed to be in these?
Hellstormer said:What about Lobster Johnson, is he actually apart of Hellboy? Will he be in any?
Hellmistress said:Yes indeed, he is - the Professor is in the next film, Blood and Iron, voiced by the inimitable John Hurt. I'm a little sad though, that young Kevin Trainor, who played the young Bruttenholm in the live action film, won't be voicing him in the animated film. I thought he did an excellent job.

Is this a duplicate of an arc in the comics or something completely fabricated for animation
