At first, I didn't like his work in the Spiderman books, but when I saw that Iceman image, I had a new found respect for him.

I thought Iceman made like an Ice shell around his body and didn't actually turn inti ice. In the comics it doesn't look like he is a transparent block of ice...its more blueish.

I noticed that too. I wonder if there's a significance to that shot, or if it was by coincidence from both directors. With the look on his face, maybe he realizes he's playing with the big boys now and has to "Man up".... or "Ice up".

No I didn't notice that. I think that the look is similar because he is realizing his world is changing. In X2 he was leaving his family and now it is probably that he is going to war and he or one of his friends might not be coming back alive.

In the seocnd film he realizes that's left behind his family for good in X3 he's leaving behind the his life as and X-Kid. He's now an X-Man and he's also thinking about Rogue. The girl he loves. Will she take the cure just to be with him?
