Iron Man 3 The Official Iron Man 3 Merchandise Thread

YES! And a fast food tie-in somewhere. Avengers didn't need any more marketing but I missed the swag!!! I need to drive by 7-11 and see Iron Man in the window damnit.

BTW- I did get an Iron Patriot Standee already:

And this t-shirt had better light up or else I wasted $50 on a black t-shirt on eBay. (Ordered it not recieved yet)

Odd as it is, Subway restaurants in Canada are running an IM3 promo for their kids meals, which just involves a free bag with Iron Man on it, stickers, plus a chance to win an admission ticket for the film.

Hmm, that's interesting, I thought Iron Man 3 still counted as Paramount but having a collectible bag and stickers with the Subway kids meals is Disney's contract. They also did it with Brave and Frankenweenie.

I havent been keeping track, but is the Assemblers line the only 3.75 inch figures for IM3?

There's also another series of 3.75" IM3 figures, though those ones are as badly articulated as the Assemblers figures.

So far the only thing I am excited about is the Hot Toys Mark 42 Die-cast 1/6 scale figure which thankfully isn't coming out until February of next which by that time I'm sure I'll have enough money stashed away for afford him plus I'm sure his release date will get pushed as Hot Toys is notorious for doing. Has anyone come across the Marvel Select Mark 42 figure yet? I am curious as to how poseable and articulated he is as the Mark 6 one wasn't too poseable. Hopefully he will be more articulated and poseable.

With the movie out in Singapore the 1/12 Super Alloy figures can be revealed.

These are the 6 inch diecast figures

The bummer part is that these were still the prototypes. They also weren't metal but plastic

While the prototypes on display are not the final figures and neither are they diecast (but painted plastic prototypes, shown here for display purposes), I am told that they will be articulated and come housed in a box with cut-out foam for the figures. Release is scheduled within this year, so keep bugging your fav retailers for availability details! Without any hyperbole, I am to have at least a couple for my own collection! Can you guess which? ;p

For that price, I would rather pay some genius scientist to build me a real Iron Man suit that way I would never have to pay for the outragous plane ticket prices ha ha. But seriously, If I was rich I would buy that in a heart beat.

For all the people in the UK and such did any of you snag some of those limited edition 3D glasses or is it a US only thing? I am in the US so the movie hasn't come out yet but I was just curious as to what they look like in person. Definitely want to snag a pair or two, one to keep and one to sell on ebay ha.

Again, did anyone in the UK who saw the movie in 3D snag pair of those limited edition 3D glasses? Just wondering how they look in person etc.

Edit Just looked them up on Ebay. So far they are going for 20-25 bucks for one and like 70-78 bucks for all four, Tony Stark, Warmachine, Iron Patriot, and the Mark 42.

Any sign of the Marvel Legends wave 2 figures yet? Kinda odd not to have them out yet this close to the movie's release date.

Anyone know when the Art of Iron Man 3 book comes out?

Ya so want to get that book as I own The Art of The Avengers book and it is fantastic looking.
