Seen it today pretty good movie. I give it an 8/10. Needed a few more action scenes but made up for it with RDJ's charisma. CGI was top notch. I have a feeling the sequal is gonna kick all sorts of ass.

It was a very good movie that was very enjoyable for myself. My gf on the hand did not like it too much as there was not too much beyond the action (she is not somebody who would go see this type of movie under normal circumstances if I did not insist). I especially thought it was very amusing having the stock reports.

By the way, was it suposed to be Hillary Swank looking at the screen right at the end?

Saw the movie on Friday. It was by far and wide the most enjoyable movie for me since Transformers last year although I'd say Iron Man tops Transformers in all departments. I did have reservations during the development of the movie but after seeing all the trailers and TV spots I was sold that this would be an awesome movie but it definitely exceeded all expectations. RDJ nails Stark and is right on the money with his acting here.

This is the best superhero movie since Spiderman 2. I am definitely anticipating the sequel in 2010.

I completely agree with you. Marvel have set a new standard, the standard being exteme fun and action packed without compromising the quality of the film.

Great job. RDJ nailed the character perfectly. FX were great, cast was great. If you had Cruise or Nick Cage in there, it would not have been nearly as good of a film...I tip my hat to RDJ, and for Favreau for making a great flick.

Superman the Movie, Batman 89, Batman Begins, (TDK WILL be better haha) X-Men 2, Spidey 1 are all better overall films than Iron Man IMO. Iron Man is on par with Spidey 2 IMO.

I think Iron Man is slightly better than the 1st X Men film and is on par with Blade 2 IMO. I think it is better than Blade 1 and definitely better than Blade 3. I think Superman Returns is slightly better than Iron Man. It's a close one on that though.

9/10 and nothing less I used to read the comics back in the 90's so it was nice to see that time period in the comics history being referenced too a lot. But they did a nice balance over all condesing everything even the recent CW/Initiative stuff. What made me happiest was that the only real notable changes were the cali stuff and the afghanistan stuff otherwise it was pretty much verbatim what is in the books.

Just proves that you don't have to make so many significant changes to a superhero's mythos to engage non comic readers. This is the movie to beat here, Marvel has finally outdone themselves. This is what a summer blockbuster is supposed to be like pay attention Bayformers.

What can i say except it was one of the best superhero movies ever made! Robert Downey Jr. was perfect as Tony stark, Gwyneth Paltrow was good, The effects were good. everything about this movie was almost perfect, the only thing that wasn't was the really annoying fight scene at the end. This was a real crowd pleaser and i wasn't surprised that Marve has already announced the sequel, hope it is as good as the first

i loved the movie...seen it twice already...one thing i noticed is if you look at the monitors behind tony after his first go in the red and gold suit they are all displaying the war machine armor. you can clearly see the dark grey and light grey on the suit.

Gotta agree with you, I don't get the universal high praise this film is getting. It was a great adaptation, entertaining film from start to finish but its not the greatest superhero film ever or even superhero origin film. Just didn't have a great final battle. But looking forward to the sequel.

I agree,Iron Man will still be kicking serious butt when Speed Racer is out,and probably when Indiana Jones:The Kingdom Of Crystal Skull(it just seems no one gives a frack about it alot). But Narnia 2,will make it lose it's legs IMO.
