Marvel has a Jigsaw, but apparently Lion's Gate does now as well, with the "Saw" horror films.. just wondering, if there would be any legal hassle if Marvel wanted their Jigsaw to be in the Punisher sequel..

Considering Marvel created theirs first, I don't see it being a hassle and they probably won't call Jigsaw by that name in the Punisher sequel.

The Jigsaw and the Punisher are two different worlds, they won't make any sequel with Jigsaw any time soon...

The villain in the Punisher sequel is Jigsaw. That was one of the first things that's been confirmed. It may change with the new script rewrite, but it's doubtful.

I read an interview with Avi saying that Jigsaw is the villain in the new sequel, and that it will be the son of Howard Saint..... the kid that was holding the bomb at the end........

hmm.... Not much bigger then jane, Jigsaw was always drawn bigger the Frank. Cole Hauser should be MoonKnight. I'll stick with Vince Vaughn or Tommy Morrison.

cole hauser is a very good choice also but a few of the others are a bit crap i mean u guys do know who jigsaw is rite? armand maybe would take this role, where as some of the others may not, and vince vaughn? wen i think of him i think t-rex's n fantasy.

I wonder what Tommy is looking like now. He was built pretty good in Rocky 5 and the kid could fight like nobody's business when he was allowed to box. I used to love watching him fight.

I didn't see an official Jigsaw thread. In fact I remember I created a Jigsaw casting thread but can't find it. Oh well so I'll bump this one.

A few names that I like:

Vince Vaughn
Matt McCaunahay
Woody Harrelson
Henry Rollins would be fun here.
Micky Rourke is too "type casting"

Also the reason the Saw films are named just "SAW" and not "JIGSAW" is thanks to Marvel from what I heard.

me n u seem to be the only ppl interested in talking jigsaw lol, Matt McCaunahay is a good choice, the rest are not good looking enough, i liked the idea pf jesse bradford alot of people dont, but a youngish handsome man is what i thought jigsaw would be, hot headed bad tempered not some ray liotta type.

From what I remember from the old script Russo is never actually called Jigsaw so it might just stay that way. And I still say Ray Liotta for Jigsaw.

I don't believe that. It was always called Saw. The two kids who wrote and directed the movie originally made a short film titled Saw before they went on to direct the first full length movie.
