Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Jimmy Olsen FTW!

Yelchin is booked for Star Trek 2, and since both that and TMOS are lensing this summer don't see that one happening.

Rupert Grint (with a US accent) for Jimmy Olsen
P.S.: I'm gonna get flamed for this, aren't I?
There's a difference between an actor not having a chance at a role and an actor not having the ability to occupy two spaces at once. You also said Cavill would never be cast as Superman, so, yeah.

And also let's not forget that both Star Trek and Terminator Salvation came out in 2009. He was able to film both movies at the same time because he was playing a supporting character, which Jimmy obviously is. So I believe he could pull off both Star Trek 2 and Superman at the same time.
Plus there really hasn't been much news on ST2... wouldn't be surprised if the production/release date got pushed back.
You missed my point... It was that your example and the subject weren't remotely related.Cheers.

Plus, Star Trek filmed November 2007-March 2008 and Terminator filmed May 2008-July 2009.

That was very, very, very obviously a typo.Dude, Terminator Salvation was released in May of 2009. So you're saying that they were still filming the same movie two months after it's release?
I think that's just slightly impossible.
There's a very distinct difference between doubt based on what you've heard and doubt based on facts.Oh, I got your point. Allow me to rephrase: Jaime "didn't see it happening" when it came to Cavill being cast. He also "doesn't see it happening" for Yelchin playing Jimmy. You're discussing semantics. It's not rocket science, you high-fiving mother****er.
