Unless he knows what we don't know, I think he's talking about the recent reshoots, with Francis Lawance being used as a consultant for the director. dark horizons.com also mentioned in their 2010 preview that Hex had some production issues, maybe due to Jimmy Hayward's lack of experience. I think he wants the movie to be very stylized; however, you need someone who can do it right from the get-go. Remember this is all rumors.

Some people who are new to directing can make magic just like that (Marc Webb, Neil Bloomkamp, Duncan Jones); some can't (David Goyer)

well what ever is the case i do hope the film turns out well.

yea it would be disapointing if the film falls apart or bombs. But since it was a lower budget film it could easily make its cost back easy. But yea we never really know how films will go these days. But like i said i hope it does well enough for the studio.

Ooooohhhhh dont say that Showtime, I had such high hopes for this movie :csad:.

it's not to say that this will be a bad movie; it's safe to say that Jimmy Heyward struggled as a filmmaker with this one (this being his first live action film).

If he sticks to the script and not make the visuals too distracting, then it'll be fine.

I still think it's a mistake putting Fox in this film.

well she is playing a hooker so how bad could it be lol. also some nice photos.

From the one pic I've seen of her, she looks less like a 19th century woman and more like a modern day girl playing dress up. I don't know if that makes sense.

i get what u mean, hopefully it will work in motion and speach and all that.

to be honest, Fox wasn't that bad in Jennifer's Body. In fact, yeah, she's a bit overhyped but I've seen worse from the likes of Lindsey Lohan and Brittney Spears. Truth be told, there's not a whole lot of negative gossip (so far) with her, so that's probably why I defend Megan a lot...

She may perform well enough, I don't know, I've never seen her in anything outside of TF. I just think she looks too "modern" for the part.

Hey guys, I thought the official movie poster sucked, so I made my own. What do you think?

EDIT: I changed up the poster a little bit, simplified the type and bumped up Malkovich to top billing where he belongs. I tried to keep it simple and treat it like a cover of the comic this time.

Thanks! Do you think the logo is a bit much though? Others have complained that it's too busy and not the best font. I'm thinking I may go back over it, simplify the texture of the title and the use a different less complex font for the actor names, tagline, and date.

That looks great. I would simplify the logo. Keep the font, but maybe reduce the contrast so it's easier to read.

Agree completely. Transformers films..well you can't really judge acting on that but in Jennifer's Body she was surprisingly pretty decent, as was Amanda Seyfried in that movie.

they were probably early makeup add ons or other things will probably be enhanced via sfx.
