I wouldn't say that. But there is definitely supernatural elements. The way they are implemented are very interesting though IMO.

As someone else has mentioned he is looked at as a mythical figure, with conflicting stories by people.

The script is dated as 2007 though so there could be changes.

If this is breaking the rules (I don't see how it can be) don't ban me, just tell me and I'll edit it.

I don't think the supernatural elements in the script are meant to be actually supernatural, but a sort of pseudo-science that appears to be supernatural. At least that's what I recall of the script.

I think I know what you are talking about, and I would agree with that.

But there are other elements too.

Well the leads were probably signed to a multi picture deal like most of this comics films actors tend to get. If the film does well i would enjoy seeing more of hex. There is alot they can do with the character.

Megan Fox said her role in Jonah Hex is "basically a cameo."

Well that is good for folks who dont really care for megan at all.

That sort of sounds like the vibe you get in the comics then, Hex guided Talula Black back from the dead in Origins, so i'm hoping that is as far as the supernatural stuff goes in the movie.

hopefully so. I never read any hex books before, for you hex readers what stories you think would be best for me too check out some time?

Thanks night i will look into that next time i go to my local comic shop.

Yeah, if her role's anything like the script, she only sticks around long enough to [BLACKOUT]die horribly[/BLACKOUT].

Someone posted a link earlier in the thread which states that Fox and all the other cast member are signed for sequels though, so maybe her role has been expanded.

Has there been any word on what rating they're aming for this? R, or PG-13?

I still think Lexi Alexander could have been a more inspiring choice for director than this guy. So far the film seems to be looking good, though. Brolin looks great. We'll see.

Crap, it better be R. The script was so brutal and I loved it.

Well it would be nice for R rating and if they are filming the film to have that more mature stuff. I was just saying pg13 since they probably want to market it to more of the general audience to get more to see the film. But we got to remember there is alot of stuff you can get away with in a pg13 film now that could/was consider R material years ago.

I would have boycotted if Lexi Alexander directed.

Anyway, according to G4 Jonah Hex will have some presence at Comic Con :)

I hope it's an R. Everything about the script - and, indeed, the comic book source material - would demand it.

Havent read the script, but the source material would definately warrant an R/18, if its close to the source as people say, hopefully this will the rating for it.

Agreed about LA, dont fancy her directing at all.

Nice to know JH will have something at CC also, hope we get some news/info.

Hopefully comic con will have more news on whats going on with the film, maybe even a sneak peak into the film.

Is Josh Brolin going to show up at Comic-Con to talk about this movie? He's going to be in England at that time shooting the new Woody Allen movie.

Does anyone else think we might get a teaser at Comic Con? They've certainly had enough time for one :).
