I saw the trailer for it about 10 minutes after I posted that, lol

I didn't even know a trailer was available for it yet, lol. But now that I've seen a trailer...man does this look bad

The only part that looked really bad to me was the gatling gun on the horse. Everything else was pretty cool.

I saw the trailer last night before Elm Street and I must say...that the movie looks every bit as bad as I thought that it would. It looks like a SyFy movie.

This movie looks like hot garbage. Seriously, that trailer is makes this look about as good as Ghost Rider...meaning not good AT ALL! Megan Fox's performance looks like an instant Razzy winner, and shows she has absolutely no talent. They have to be paying Brolin and Malkovich well. No way this script convinced them to make this movie.

yea, this looks horrible. I have a bad feeling this isn't going to do that well, I will be seeing it out of pure curiousity and the "this will have to do until a better film is made" state of mind.

As someone who had know knowledge of Jonah Hex prior to seeing the trailer, I can say that the trailer did its job, for me at least. It got me interested enough to try and find more information about the film and character. The only thing I saw (actually heard) in the trailer that didn't seem up to snuff was Megan Fox's accent, but she didn't speak a whole lot so it's hard to tell how good or bad it is.

I have a feeling that the 20-minute episode of BTAS that had Hex in it will be better than this movie.

I'm still gonna see it but I can't shake that feeling.

The first script was actually, very, very good. I mean reeeally good. The best script i've read in a while. Better than GL or Predators or anything from the last few years.

But, they might have butchered the first draft for all we know.

I didn't read the script or anything, but that trailer is so bad. Plus, even if the script wasn't altered much, you can still make a terrible movie out of a good script. Just look at the theatrical cut of Daredevil. From a writing standpoint, Daredevil was actually solid (especially if you see the DC), but the movie they put in theaters sucked, and it had a few meh performances. This film also seems to have some bad performances that will make even an awesome script suffer.

Seriously, Megan Fox is TERRIBLE in this trailer. TERRIBLE! I can't emphasize this enough. She is going to be a major distraction regardless of Malkovich or Brolin.

Cop Out, A Nightmare on Elm Street, and now this. Damn, we're getting a lot of bad movies this year. Though even all together they probably won't come close to matching the travesty that was Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. So theres that.

I'm really dissapointed in this. This movie should have been a slam dunk. Now I realize it's a bit early and maybe it will turn out to be good, but to me they underplayed all the cool stuff about JH, and basically turned it into this summers "Wild Wild West."

yea we should just wait to see how things turn out once the film is out so we can all judge the final theater cut of the film. Plus for all we know maybe there is a extended cut or something planned for video release and all that. Hopefully the character is treated right.

I blame Brolin for this, it's his fault that he got Jimmy Hayward on board, saying that Hayward had alot of crazy ideas & was blown away (whatever the hell that means ). So yeah, I don't have faith in this either.

It's funny, but of all things there is one in that trailer that bugs me the most. As someone who has been around horses quite a while, they aren't the brightest of animals, and you can't even fire a gun in the vicinity of a horse without it flipping out, let alone two huge gatling guns on either side of it's head, and expect to control that animal. But there he is aiming the guns and mowing down people. lol.

well its is a fantasy film so the whole horse bit isnt to out there. But yea the film could fail or it could be a modest hit for wb. all i hope is that it can do well enough for the studio. i do still plan to see it myself to judge the whole film better then just a 2min trailer.

yea for me i am just going to wait to judge the film better once i see it. I will probably end up seeing it during mantiee price time where its a couple bucks cheaper and all that.

Hopefully after this director's who's name isn't Michael Bay will stop casting Fox in movies. She's not a box office draw and her only appeal is to look hot for horny fanboys.
