I hope we get a Batman that is different from the Bale Batman and the so called "Realistic" Batman of Nolan's films.

With this film, we can finally get the Batman of the comics: One that uses his brains, detective, and strategical skills. Hopefully, his characterization is like the Grant Morrison Bats.

I'm also hoping his costume's more faithful to the comic books...

Yeah...I would at least like to see a blue tint to the cape and cowl, boots, and gloves. Not bright blue, but enough of a tint so that there is contrast to the black on the rest of the suit. I don't think you can have an all black batman costume in this film, cuz it won't match well with the colorful costumes of the rest of the league.

That's silly...black goes with everything.

Seriously though, I think they should stick with all black, or black on grey.

I'm hoping for DJ Cotrona since thar past rumor he appeared in.
As for his costume, I'm kind of wanting a midnight blue/almost black with charcoal gray costume and for this logo to be on his chest.

EDIT: And a gold looking belt, not bronze looking.

Agreed. I wouldn't be surprised to see how much the costume changes...Or if it will resemble the Begins/TDK suit in anyway. Based on what was said in the leaked script pages, I think they'll showcase his detective and strategical skills well enough.

I think Wentworth Miller would be the perfect Morisson-era Bat-God Batman. He'd be my top choice.

As for the costume, I'd like to see something different. Stay away from the oval and the capsule belt, but maybe throw some blue and gray in there.

The picture for the suit is the perfect example. Something close to it would be ideal.

, that would atleast show off some intelligence and cunning that Nolan's Batman is lacking.

Along with everyone else, I'm hoping to see a smarter Batman who uses his brains, along with his resources and skills, to truly earn a place in the League. The fact that he'll be the only non-superpowered Leauger should ensure some good conflict in that way.

The only thing I would be tweaking would be the trunks, but I'd have to see the actor it would fit on to decide, but I'm thinking it should look boxer breif-like as opposed to plain breifs.

October 22, 2007 - A bevy of young Hollywood actors, including Adam Brody and Minka Kelly, have recently auditioned for lead roles in Warner Bros.' forthcoming live-action Justice League of America movie. Now two more names can be added to the list of rumored contenders.

Transformers star Josh Duhamel has reportedly tested for JLA. Although the part that Duhamel is said to have read for is not certain, IESB.net believes it was most likely for the role of Batman. Furthermore, the site claims Hostel: Part II actress Bijou Phillips has also auditioned for an unspecified part in JLA.

IESB also recently caught up with Grindhouse actress Mary Elizabeth Winstead, who chatted with them about auditioning for the part of Wonder Woman. "It was just a read. Kind of an audition like any other but it was very nerve racking because it's a pretty huge project. I was just shocked that they asked me," Winstead revealed. She added, "I don't know what my chances are. They're keeping pretty mum."

Meanwhile, rapper-actor Common (Smokin' Aces, American Gangster) has spoken to SuperheroHype.com about the rumors that he auditioned for the role of Green Lantern (John Stewart) in JLA. Common informed the site that he couldn't talk about that but said, "I just like to go out for good roles, anything, that's all it is really, whether it's a comic book or true story or whatever it may be. I wanna be a part of great projects, but yeah, I'm familiar with Green Lantern because I collected (them) when I grew up."

I hope the costume is far from the all-black rubber thing they have used for the movies. I know cloth would look odd, but if it looked like the comics, I'd get all happy and stuff. In my pants.
