Well, he's part of the Weapon X team, so, like the others, he probably starts off as a friend or teammate and maybe they become rivals as the story progresses.

I can't imagine him doing anything significant other than providing comic relief and the occasional physical feats to show off his power.

Comc relief? That's why we have Wade isn't it? Before he becomes Weapon XI he seems to be the kickass, jabber mouth we all know.

Well, this is still an action adventure movie. Everyone will have their share of comedic moments in it..It comes with the territory.

I didn't mean that Blob will be THE comic relief in the movie. Only that he will provide some of it as part of his role in the movie...at least more of than some of the other characters.

I really like the idea of him originally being fit and strong and eventually gaining weight. Either due to aging or lack of Weapon X meds.

I don't think Blob is "fit". He's muscular, but i think that he's still more fat than strong. And, at least in his boxer version, he'll be really funny, apparently.

I would have preferred him as Strong Guy. Blob was always the type of guy that reveled in his fattery. It wasn't a source of shame.

Good call. He does resemble Strong Guy, but no offense, he's an X-character who had little developement, thus little like-ability. P.S. Kevin Durand's future is looking bright!That character spot had me sold.

I think they should have made him Strong Guy, sure as **** looks like him, but Blob has a bit more well known due to appearing in the animated X-shows
